"The thing that really stood out were the eggs. Most continental breakfast serve eggs that are the consistency of egg flavoured jello. Their chef made eggs that tasted like actual eggs! It seems a strange thing to rave about but for breakfast the little things really count."

"When i checked in, the guy at the desk asked our stay, said we were here for the concert, he upgraded the room to a suite , no extra charge. Free buffet breakfast, 2 bottles of wine, free use of lounge. Was very impressed. "

"I had a wonderful stay here. When we arrived we got a complimentary room upgrade, which made my day! The room was clean and areas around for shopping and eating were endless. The covered parking garage attached to the hotel is an asset when staying downtown Halifax. "

"11/10 experience! My wife and I stayed here two nights while celebrating our honeymoon and we were blown away by how well we were treated. When we arrived we were told check in would take a few extra minutes as they were working on something special for us. Boy was it worth the wait! We arrived at our room and realized we were upgraded to the Prince of Whales suite! We then noticed a beautiful note congratulating us on our wedding along with wine and desserts. I can’t thank the staff enough for how special the staff made our stay and we will be recommending the Barrington to everyone we know heading the Halifax. THANK YOU!"
