For an older property it was fine, it had all we required for our short stay. The staff were very nice and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Good stopover point.

We used The Red House as an overnight stopover point to break up a long journey from 'up North' back down to the south coast. The building is 200+ years old and Grade 2 listed so lacks some of the refinements you would find in a more modern establishment. However it was clean and tidy and suited our needs. The single beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast and a very friendly and welcoming host.

Great location while a quiet place to rest for visiting town. Although I could not try the food due to my schedule, the smell and attention to it were fantastic. Decent on price for what is on offer.

Lovely stay

We all had a lovely stay at The Red house. We booked 3 x rooms altogether. We will be staying in Grantham quite regularly due to family now living here and will definitely stay here again. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable The lady who checked us in was really nice and helpful.

Perfect for a one-night business trip, with good WiFi and a shower with good pressure and warmth. Noise from corridor, but not from other rooms.

Very pleasant, quiet and comfortable guest house.

We enjoyed a one night stay in the Red House. It was very pleasant with tea, coffee, water, and biscuits available on arrival. The hostess was welcoming and had time for her guests. Breakfast was an optional extra, which I liked. We only paid £57 for our stay, considering its proximity to the centre of town.

I stayed for one night as I was attending a function nearby so only needed a place to sleep for the evening. The room I was in was super warm and cosy and had everything I needed. I had a private bathroom across the landing which was decent enough. The bed was comfy. The host is simply lovely, such a welcoming lady. For the price I was very happy.
