Residence Inn by Marriott Gravenhurst Muskoka Wharf
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing experience! Friendly front office staff, pool was well maintained and suites were exceptional! Housekeeping did not dissappoint! Housekeeping came in upon request as we went out to explore the area came back to new bedding, new towels.
Fantastic experience!"
"Just got home from a 3 night stay. Super clean, modern and thoughtful, this boutique motel is perfect for a trip to Gravenhurst. While we never actually spoke to a staff member in person, they were really responsive on text and provided us with more than enough info before check-in that we really didn't need anything from them during our stay.
We didn't use the hot tub or spa, but enjoyed the lovely seating areas out front while we had our morning coffee.
Added bonus - the Frosty Pint Pub across the road is a gem and worth trying. Great menu, food and staff."
"The room was nice. The view was nice - lakeside balcony.
It was for 4 of us. The room had 1 King & sofabed.
We needed to request the bedding for the sofabed - not in room.
We also had to request an extra set of towels. Half way through the stay we needed to ask for a 4th set of towels…they must reset with only 3.
The Chophouse was ok - the selection was limited and over priced for the steaks.
Teca (Italian) restaurant was reasonably priced, nice atmosphere- family enjoyed the food.
The Deck pool closes at 6 pm should stay open longer….people are on vacation.
Family thought it was ok, not worth the hype…
Drinks were very expensive $20++ for vodka soda…specialty drinks.
Enjoyed the access to free coffee in the ‘Cottages’ restaurant (buffet) area. It too was pricey for the selection.
Nice experience for us but may be a place for those not minding a $500 dinner that was meh.
Nice property - very clean, very well maintained.
WiFi was good no issues with it. Room was clean. The bathroom had a tub, separate shower and toilet room…enjoyed it.
Small kitchenette with toaster, flat burners, nice size bar fridge, utensils, cookware, coffee maker.
Enjoyed the option - only made bagels one morning.
It was nice."
Beautiful Waterfront Cottage with Hot Tub in South Muskoka
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time at this cottage. Plenty of space for our large group, but only 1 washroom in main floor unit - 2nd washroom was upstairs on separate unit, which we hardly use. Since there was nice large dock and swimming area on the lake, we didn't use the pool. We had access to 2 canoes and 1 kayak which we used every day. We were given a tour of the cottage upon our arrival and the place was very clean. The only concern I have is the voice alarm when the front door or windows were open. It was annoying for the person sleeping in the sofa."
"Overall super clean and pretty well exactly as advertised. It was a perfect spot for me and my friends to spend a weekend. The host was also incredibly kind and quick to respond every time I messaged."
"This was the most peaceful place I have ever stayed. I misunderstood and thought it was on the water and was very thankful that Muskoka Bay Park was less than 10 minutes away and had a small beach front. I also think the front room could use another a/c window unit because this room was often quite too warm. I loved how close the deer came to walk around. My dog didn’t, but I loved seeing them just chilling everywhere. The hot tub and Alexa were great additions to my stay since they added to my relaxation and fun. I was disappointed I could not access any other streaming service other than Youtube because a previous guest had changed all the settings.Devon was a fantastic host and very attentive. She absolutely made the enjoyment of my stay a priority and I could feel that because she was very quick to respond to questions I had. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
