“Lovely place to stay at in a great location. Even though near a road there was tons of privacy around the property. We were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen had all the things we’d need to cook with. They have the fireplace setup properly so you can stay there in cold weather and still be warm and cozy indoors. We really enjoyed our time staying here. Extremely clean and everything was organized inside the cottage really well. ”

“Beautiful rustic cabin that faces Madawaska River. Brad (also met his mom) are lovely hosts.Cabin is in the yard (I think) of Brad's family cabin. He told me he'd be on the property the day we checked in. His family did some maintenance but they left the following day. It's very private, which we love.Cabin itself is very well-equipped. Different sizes of frying, soup and sauce pans. Different cooking utensils. Even paper filters for the coffee machine. There's also steak knives, pitchers, shot……

“The property is well kept with gorgeous views. The inside is cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice to cook in. It was like a home away from home. Lots of amenities and we enjoyed sitting in the sauna and hot tub after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend Kuro at Paint Lake. I would go here again. ”

“Great part of river to be on, all of us enjoyed canoeing up and down both ways on the river from the cottage, fantastic scenery and swimming off the dock turned out better than I though with being on a river with how calm it is, great location”

“Our experience with a stay at this lodge was so incredible. We stayed in cabin #8, which was small but very cozy. Our family of 5 slept all together which we don’t get to do often so was fun! The kids all had their own bed as there were still 4 beds. We had a full kitchen and bathroom as well. The cabin was very clean and well prepared for guests. There is water front swimming and docks. We had our own dock off the side of our cabin which our son was out fishing off constantly. The water was……

“This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. ”
