「The safari guide was highly professional and provided very detailed explanations about each animals. He was genuinely attentive and made a real effort to spot animals and guide us closely, which left a very positive impression.
The food was also excellent — delicious, generous in portion size, and very satisfying overall.
The only downside was the tap water (including the shower). The water was quite salty, and even after showering, my hair felt dry and not very refreshed.

「Lovely Manor House Hotel property set within its own grounds and beautiful gardens, only a few miles outside of Oudtshoorn. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed, fluffy towels and toiletries with room service each day. Excellent breakfasts with good choice of healthy options and hot selection cooked fresh to order. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. 」

「It's very quiet, very calm and very well appointed. I had a luxurious chalet with a mini kitchen and fast internet. Do bring food with you as there's not a restaurant at the hotel and you'll have to go back into Carnarvon to eat otherwise - where options are limited. Bring cat treats too if you want to be popular with the feline greeters
The host is very welcoming and you'll enjoy seeing the ostriches on this working farm
