「We came to Cheboygan to do volunteer work. As a result we were gone from 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 at night. We didn't have much time to enjoy all the place offers. That being said, the cabin was very comfortable and super clean. Everything we needed for the stay was provided. The bed was very comfortable too. The only issue we had was connecting to the Internet with our phones. It was very spotty which was frustrating at times. If you want a very nice place to stay that gives a...

「The cabin is very rustic, as advertised, vey quiet and the lake outside the back door was so peaceful! Richie was there to greet us and answer any questions we had about the cabin. Also the information we received ahead of time helped us have everything that we needed with us. The location was so close to everywhere that we wanted to visit, so we loved that! Overall a great experience!」

「Good sized cabin, little walk down to lake. Easy to find, was clean. Good fit for 3 adults (could do 4-6). Good kitchen to prepare food. Good sized living room area with decent seating. If we head up we would rent again.」

「Everything about this tiny house is thoughtfully planned with your comfort in mind, from the outdoor games to the farm fresh eggs, the surprisingly decent shower and just the all around tranquility of the space. I've stayed in a lot of cabins and yurts and cottages where the owners claim to care about their guests' experience but this is the only one that smashed it out of the park. Many thanks to these lovely folks for doing it right!」

「The cabin was very beautiful and relaxing」

「This was a great experience. We sat outside and listened to nature until 11pm. Was quiet and very little light noise. Great way to disconnect and enjoy our time together.」

「Absolutely fantastic stay at Papa's Place. The cabin was even better in person, it is so charming and beautiful! We loved being right on the lake . We hope to be back again!」

「The cabin was very clean! We were there the second week of October and had no heat or air conditioning, so it was pretty hot during the day and cold at night. I also wish there were hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on. Be sure to bring your own soap because even the shampoo was a bar of soap and as a woman with long hair, it was virtually impossible to use. There was also a very large kitchen, but no pots or pans or even a toaster to actually use any of it. The pool and hot tub were very...
