“Great location! Cassidy and Wendy were great hosts and very good with communication. We did arrive in the dark and even with clear directions, struggled a bit on finding the cottage. The entry to the driveway is a bit rough and bumpy. Be sure to stay in the middle of the driveway. It worked well for a our group of 4 adults and 2 children. The "hobbit" area upstairs is great for kids. ”

“The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting.……

“Beautiful tranquil country house surrounded by fireflies, bats and deer. Well appointed. Excellent hot tub and fire pit.”

“We had an amazing 4 night stay at this beautiful home in the perfect location to explore New River Gorge National Park and the charming town of Fayetteville. We loved the spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and roomy shared spaces. Spent lots of quiet time on the gorgeous porch and back patio where we chilled in the evenings with the fire pit and lanterns. The host went above and beyond to elevate our stay. ”

“Had a very nice stay, The house had everything you would need. The house is very clean the rooms are spacious. Like that it was at the end of the street very quiet. I would highly recommend staying there, we will be going back there again. ”

“The property is cozy, comfy, and modern. The bed is comfortable, and the wifi is good which I was thankful for since we had no cell service around here. Plenty of room for the dog to run around. We really enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the plentiful firewood that was provided. It could be a little loud with the road being close by and people going fast, but there is a sound machine provided in the bedrooms which was very thoughtful. ”
