Nice place for a weekend getaway

Stayed for the UGA-Auburn weekend. Close enough to Athens yet far enough away to be able to relax. Great stay.

Nice weekend

Beautiful home with lovely decor. We pretty much stayed at the house except we did drive to the Ritz Carlton for dinner one evening.

The Good News and the Bad News

This cottage is very well equipped and attractive. However, it is not in walking distance to anything that we were "allowed" to do, such as go to the pool or clubhouse. The description said that there was a "loft", which turned out to be an open space between the two upstairs bedroom, offering NO PRIVACY for the guest staying there. In addition, I had to deal with no less than FOUR entities, when making this reservation. AND, twice the communication indicated the WRONG dates for my booking. Since this was for a special birthday celebration, and people were coming from CA, NH, KY, as well as GA, I was panicked when I thought we might not have a place to stay, even though the manager assured me--on BOTH occasions--that things were fine. It would have been nice to be able to use the community pool on the July 4 weekend, but it was not permitted.

Perfect for a Quiet and Refreshing Get Away

This home was immaculate! Beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. Kitchen was very well equipped. Bedrooms & bathrooms were very well done. Bedding and linens were of good quality. Nothing basic about it. Called property manager with a question and she was spectacular. The location was perfect. Very quiet setting yet less than a mile from stores and restaurants. The property itself and the community was beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. Appreciated the property being a gated community. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime. To the home owner and property manager we would like to say "Thank you"!

Great escape!

Great place to escape and relax. Very cozy fireplace and spacious cottage plenty of room for the entire family. Walking distance to gorgeous park and close to retail/restaurants. Very easy to book and overall great experience!

Beautiful home, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Oconee in this home. The layout was perfect for our family of four. The property manager was very responsive. The owners added a great new grill right before we arrived. The house had a well stocked kitchen, new smart TVs, and was well taken care of. It was in a great location, walkable to the pool. We would stay again!

Excellent!

We stayed here to attend a wedding in Greensboro. The location was close to other family members staying on the Ritz property which easily allowed us to meet up for brunch, activities, etc. The house was well stocked and in excellent condition. The only downside was not being able to use the (amazing) pool that was within the property/subdivision. We would stay here again!
