"The Okra Inn was a great festival house for our group 7. Some of us ran up and down the stairs (all of the bedrooms were upstairs) and some of us climbed the stairs slowly . . . The heater blows cold air, the refrigerator freezes everything, the curtain in the toilet keeps falling, creepy sounds at night. The parking around the house on the street is good, but the owner kept scaring us to go park in a hotel which we did but was very inconvenient, expensive and not required, The Bed and "Breakfast" is literally just boxes of yogurt and juices in the fridge which were...

I assumed we were going to trade sleep quality for a prime location, but I was wrong! Very comfortable place, and the courtyard was great for our toddler to play. "8 of us stayed here for a long weekend. The 3 bedrooms were all nice and each of them was big enough for a couple. The loft above is spacious, but the steps to get to it are a bit steep and can be challenging for some. The location is convenient and close enough to enjoy the area, but far enough to get quiet sleep. Domingo and Natasha were great hosts and communicated consistently throughout our stay!"

"Dan was excellent and present to accommodate us on our arrival. He took the time to give us some useful tips around Mardi Gras. The house is great to accommodate eight couples (Private bathrooms in each room is a big plus) It was unfortunate on the cooler weather. Did not get the opportunity to enjoy the pool and outdoor bar which would be awesome in the summer months. The only one recommendation I would consider is a rental car. We mostly Ubered since the house is a 35 min walk to Bourbon and...

"I’ve never stayed in such an old house so I wasn’t expecting the toilets to be so sensitive and the water pressure to be pretty non existent. The shower water went off a few times while we were showering. But I’d recommend replacing the shower curtains. They weren’t that clean. The house was nice and the garden area was pretty. Loved having an off street parking spot. The house worked great for our friends and family!"

"Always have a great stay at this property. A little older property but well maintained and recently updated. On site steakhouse is excellent. Streetcar line steps from the door making getting around very easy. We do not use much of the on site amenities but location is awesome. Many other excellent restaurants nearby or a streetcar ride away. "
