“We had a 2 night stay over the weekend at Loyd Hall Plantation. We stayed in the Magnolia... The cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of towles, hand towels and wash cloths. We were asked if we needed anything, which we did not. There was Bidy wash, soap, shampoos, conditioners and lotion in the restroom if any was needed. Plenty of coffee, creamer and sugar. The lady thay is the housekeeper went above and beyond to make sure all was good. Over all the stay was amazing and we……

“Les petits cottage sont plein de charmes. La décoration vous ramène dans une autre époque. De plus vous avez tout loisir de déambuler dans les jardins extraordinaires de Houmas house qui sont éclairés la nuit et de ce fait magique. Vous pouvez également faire appel à une voiturette qui vous conduira volontiers au cottage ou au restaurant. Par contre attention !! Si vous avez un cottage au bord de la route par exemple 1 ou 2. “Our hostess Kristi was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts each morning were very nice. We were amazed how quiet our room was even though we were so close to many music clubs, restaurants, etc. We felt safe and took advantage of the streetcar which is walking distance.”

“Loved our cottage and the quaintness of the home!! Breakfast was very enjoyable! The bed was very comfortable-which is always an important feature for us:). This is a substantial home in an absolutely beautiful walk friendly neighborhood. We walked to Cedar Park two days in a row to enjoy the sculpture garden and the art museum. “An absolutely spectacular experience, with incredibly friendly and helpful hosts and congenial fellow guests. "The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant."
