Excellent location with amazing view from all rooms

Great updated modern villa for a family. Each room has great view and very spacious villa to enjoy quite time but also activities collectively with the family.

Grindelwald Getaway

This home was a perfect launching point for days filled with fun summer activities. An easy (but steep) walk downhill to town and you can take the bus back up the hill if you'd rather not hike uphill. The home was spotless and the manager was wonderfully kind and helpful. Only warning about Grindelwald is that it can be touristy during the day; but is very charming and quiet in the morning and evening.

The pictures do not do Chalet Caramelle justice! We had an amazing five-night stay here in August 2025 and the house made a perfect home base for our stay in the Bernese Oberland. The house sits just above the center of Grindelwald. It is 10-15 minute walk into the center of town and a 25-30 minute walk to the Eiger and Mannlichen gondolas. It is a steep walk back up to the hill, but there is also a bus stop right outside of the house that provides easy access. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, particularly the kitchen. The outdoor space has incredible views in all directions and lots of space for kids to run around. We are dreaming about returning next summer!

"Perfect Alpine Escape with Stunning Views and Luxurious Comforts!"

We had an unforgettable stay at Chalet Caramelle! Perched high above Grindelwald, this beautiful chalet offers breathtaking views of the Eiger and the charming village below. The interiors are both luxurious and cozy, with high-quality finishes and thoughtful touches everywhere. We loved the spacious kitchen with top-notch appliances, the private sauna, and especially the library room with its comfy sofa bed—perfect for winding down. The kids adored the bunk beds and play areas, and the outdoor garden was a dream for everyone with its swings and seating areas. Chalet Caramelle provided the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Swiss mountain escape!
