The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. “We stayed in the Nyuri Suite for 4 nights. The suite is huge, clean and well air conditioned. We brought our teenager and had his own room queen bed and bathroom within the suite. We had a king bed and a huge bathroom. The suite had 2 large decks that overlooked the beach and many beautiful large trees. The food at the hotel was fantastic! We enjoyed many meals there, including several on the beach. There is food and drink service on the beach from the hotel. The pool at the hotel was very……

“It was a beautiful place in the center of it all. The service was great and the best part were the breakfast in the morning, every day a new treat and cultural experience. The rooms were spacious and the management team was very accomodating to our needs. I'd recommend it purely because of this and location!”

“Hotel Mar Rey was everything I hoped for and more. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Tamarindo and directly across the street from the beach with incredible sunsets every evening. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and very affordable. The owners made me feel welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I’ll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Costa Rica. Highly recommend!”
