This hotel and the city is amazing. This would be a perfect destination for a vacation. The staff is so friendly and helpful you do not see this kind of service in the states.Everything was perfect, the only issue is really bad WiFi connection.

Fantastique
Séjour paradisiaque. Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre historique de Gubbio, en face du Palais des Consuls. Accueil très pro et sympathique. Chambre spacieuse, propre et très bonne literie. Une vue magnifique sur la vieille ville et la campagne environnante. Agréable terrasse sur la piazza grande.

Lite bökigt att hitta hotellet,låg högt upp under Palazzo ducale. Men fint gammalt och mysigt och med ett superbt läge i centrum. Frukost helt ok med tyngd åt det söta hållet. Finns många restauranger runt omkring. Kan nå hotellet via baren nedanför. Rummen tyvärr lyhörda så man kan störas av grannar el kyrkklockor. Men som helhet en positiv upplevelse.

Struttura elegante e in pieno centro
Ottima struttura in pieno centro, con locali e arredamento molto belli e curati. Ottima e varia la colazione. Un po' difficoltoso da raggiungere quando gli accessi sono chiusi. Molto fastidiose le campane, vicinissime, che battono le ore ogni 15', anche durante tutta la notte.

Week end in famiglia durante la corsa dei Ceri
L'Hotel è inserito in un contesto storico importante ed è ubicato in una posizione invidiabile. Si esce su piazza "grande", che è il cuore della Gubbio medioevale. PIù centrale di così non si può. Il personale è di una gentilezza estrema, sempre pronto ad esaudire le richieste, anche del cliente più esigente, insomma la tipica ospitalità eugubina è qui rispettata alla lettera. Noi abbiamo soggiornato con una bimba di 2 anni, in una camera tripla sufficentemente ampia, ma non molto luminosa (una sola piccola finestra soltanto) mentre il bagno è cieco (un pò umido). La temperatura nella stanza comunque sempre accettabile (periodo metà maggio). La pulizia della stanza non proprio impeccabile (non penso passassero l'aspirapolvere ogni giorno, dato che sul parquet si vedeva molta polvere anche dopo il servizio) mentre OK la pulizia del bagno. Letto comodossimo (materasso duro ed alto); qualità del sonno sufficiente (le scampanate del vicino palazzo consiliare sono molto frequenti, ogni 1/4 d'ora). Le amenities in bagno non esattamente all'altezza di un 4S, così come la colazione, non molto varia, anche se i prodotti (le torte soprattutto) sono di qualità. Nel complesso, un 4S che avrebbe bisogno di ammodernamento e manutenzione, tuttavia, tornerei sicuramente, sia per l'estrema gentilezza del personale, che per l'ubicazione, che per il fascino di dormire in un palazzo storico come questo. Gubbio è BELLISSIMA, e la corsa dei ceri, PAZZESCA!

Faded finery
Hotel was probably wonderful in the 1980s. It suffers from not any noticeable attention in years. Many stairs to climb even just to get to reception. The staff were the absolute stars of this property. (Peter in reception was outstanding.) They were all very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was just adequate, not exceptional. Some rooms are very noisy. I understand room changes are the norm. Parking is in a public lot at least a quarter mile away. I did not see a valet, nor was one offered. Gubbio needs a real five star hotel - this one has the best location, but it would require millions to transform it.

Nearby parking was 400 meters away! Church bells every 15 minutes could be a problem for light sleepers. While the view on the piazza is fabulous the downside is the bells so may want to request quiet room

Old world charm

Great hospitality and genuine Umbrian flavor
Lovely hotel and great service. Perfect location, nice breakfast, discount at the terrific Taverna del Lupo. Went out of their way to assist us. Needs a refresh and had incredibly uncomfortable (sooo hard) beds but with gorgeous linens. We loved Gubbio and this hotel provides a genuine taste of the region.

This place is a must stay if you are in Gubbio. The facilities are fantastic, the owners and staff are terrific. Our room was beautiful, clean and quiet. The view from the room was amazing. Our dinner in the piazza in front of the hotel was wonderful as well.

La struttura è ospitata in un palazzo storico nella piazza principale della città con tutti gli aspetti positivi e negativi del caso (la posizione è eccellente, ma le camere sono un po' piccole, benché pulite e confortevoli). Alla reception c'è una cagnolona gentile e con voglia di coccole, purtroppo troppo spesso legata. Hotel nel complesso molto consigliato.
