We can tell from year to year that the house is well maintained and also improved. There is a nice supply of everyday items to start with and the property is very clean. This is our happy place. Vacation Dreamland

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything is done to perfection and waiting for you upon arrival. The house is steps away from the best beach ever and the dunes are starting to mature again creating a magical pathway between the house and the beach. Everyone you walk down it you are treated to the best beach reveal. Walk to the sunrise or to the sunset you can see it all. The night sky is amazing from the decks top level which is also great for dolphin watching. Clean, organized and full of amenities this is the place to be in the Gulf.

Perfect Spot

We always love staying at Hibearnation! We love the house and the quiet beach. It’s about a 20 minute drive into town but we love being out of the busyness of the tourist area yet still close enough to go in and enjoy some nice meals in the evenings if we want to. No complaints here😊

Awesome Vacation

We loved our stay at Hibernation. The house was awesome; complete with every amenity needed. The upper deck provided an amazing view plus a great place maximize the sun. The house location is very peaceful and only a short drive to the Gulf Shores shopping and dining area. We had an amazing vacation.

Great accommodations. Perfect house and stay for our family

Even though the weather was less than ideal the ability to sit inside and watch the ocean waves roll in, the gulls fly by and hear the rain on the roof was awesome. The ability to stroll out the door and go for a run with the post-Christmas quiet of the beach was fabulous. The house was perfect for our family.

Wonderful vacation home on the Beautiful beach. Very nice place

Was absolutely everything the house was saud to be. Husband and i took our daughter and her husband and their 2 sons our grandsons now 30 and 27 Stayed here when they were very little boys and rented a beach house and the older grandson has a few memories of it. Wanted to take them again and we all had a wonderful ine there.

Our favorite place to stay

We love all aspects of this property from the layout of the home and all the amenities. The top deck offers privacy and sunbathing opportunities, the middle deck offers protection from the sun. The screened in porch provides a great place to eat and watch the dolphins. Underneath the house offers a place to cook on the grill. Love the location too! We appreciated being able to stay at this wonderful home! Thank you!

Clean and Comfortable! Beautiful View! Private Beach!

We had a wonderful stay at Hibernation. Hurricane Nate gave us a little trouble the first day but it turned into a beautiful week. The house has a beautiful view of the Gulf, we saw dolphins on several occasions. We love the private beach. The house is comfortable, very clean and well stocked. The owners were easy to work with and quick to answer questions. We'd definitely enjoy staying again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Very nice getaway

The property was very nice. The door was a bit hard to lock, but the manager got someone on that right away. We had all the cooking supplies/utensils, we could need. The beach access was wonderful. Had no problems with neighbors being loud. It was a really nice way to celebrate our friends and our daughters high school graduation. Would highly recommend this property.

Very clean,just like home. Beautiful beach, quiet. The only thing more I could have wished for was a gas grill. I can't eat charcoal grilled food. Otherwise everything was very nice.😄

A week in the November ALABAMA SUN!

Everything was first class at the property. Obviously, the owners take a great deal of pride in there home and there wasn’t anything missing from a stand point of amenities. There is an abundance of cooking necessities, from pots and pans to utensils we had more than we could have ever used. The sleeping accommodations were perfect as was the spaciousness of the bathrooms. The outdoor decks were perfect for viewing the Gulf and all the birds and fishing boats that seemed ever present. At night the upper deck provided spectacular views of the starlit sky.

Best place we’ve stayed since we started coming to the Gulf Shores area!

Great location with just the right amount of privacy! Furnishings were super nice and not at all what we expected for a rental. We loved the amount of outdoor seating and also how well equipped the kitchen was. My husband and I were in the master bedroom and I slept WONDERFULLY on the king sized bed! Two thumbs up! Our 10 year old granddaughter (the only child on the trip) loved getting to sleep in the loft.......it was a real treat! Our son in law mentioned several times he thought their bedroom had a double bed (instead of queen), but they managed to make do. Overall, it’s our favorite place to stay and I guarantee that we will return!

Perfection

We've stayed in the Gulf Shores / Fort Morgan area for 15+ years. This may be the overall best house we've rented. It literally has everything. The beds were comfortable. The house was perfectly clean. The house is a short walk on the beach to a giant nature area so the beach is not crowded. The master bedroom looks a little outdated in the photos but don't let that fool you. The entire house is in perfect condition. The house has surround sound, TV's in every room including the loft, and nice lighting inside and out. The furniture is very comfortable. The house is also a short walk on the beach to the Beach Club resort. We'll be back. Chris

The property was well-maintained and had a short private walkway to the beach.

The house was very clean. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, silverware , pots and pans and different glassware. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bedrooms and living area were spacious for our needs. The three decks on the house were used to watch for the dolphins or just for looking out at the beautiful ocean. we went out to dinner twice and went into Gulf Shores once for ice cream. Other than that we wanted to stay and enjoy each moment we had on "our" beach. Every morning we would walk the beach to view the sunrise. It was a magical time for our family. there were eight of us: a one year old, 2 year old and 6 adults. We would love to come back again, we already miss the Hibernation! Not good

The road to the property was a washed out sand road full of massive holes. The forst thing the keys were in the house not in the lock box. The main door was inop . They sent someone right out. So from the t I me we got there till we left very underwlming property.The house itself was fine very dirty. Where there were vents they were full of dust. Every one of them . The bathroom fans were outdated and yellow. The door handle collars on three doors were hanging off. The dishwasher hose was not connected so that made a mess flooded the kitchen. Not a good place. The guest batroom had the handle broken off in the shower to turn water on. The ceiling fan in the huest room was broken. Barely spins. The utensils still had food on them that were in the drawer. We had an ant infestation on the last day. The property manager was belpful but when she told me it was the end of the season and the wear and tear can be expected i lost interest in speaking to them. I spent 6000 plus with taxes for a house that the manager even says was not up to par. I am probably going to call the credit card company and report this as unhappy with product and then pay them what i think its worth to stay here . Its not worth 6000 needing all this repair. Its ridiculous to have to pay premium for a sub par renatal.
