The Beach House - the name says it all! Set right on the beach in Gulf Shores, this bright, sunny, Gulf-front vacation home has a covered deck with a porch swing and stairs leading straight out to the sand. When you're not playing on the beach, bust out a board game on the picnic table on the deck, or head inside to stream Netflix on one of the HDTVs. This home also features a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar.

When it's time to dine, there are a number of local beachfront eateries within three miles of the house, with additional dining options in downtown Gulf Shores. For all-ages fun, Waterville USA and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo are both located less than four miles from the property.

Stairs are required to access this rental.
This property is available to groups, snowbirds, and (for a fee) weddings. Please contact us for special rates and more information.
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Fun on the beach

This property was located right on the beach for easy ocean access. The rooms were very spacious and the bunk room was perfect for all the kids we had. One thing we did not like was that the door locks every time it closes. We had to put in a code every single time to get inside. There has to be a better system. Other than that, we had no complaints. There is plenty of fun to be had right iut the back door on the beach and there are tons of fun things to do within 10 miles of the house. We would definitely stay in this house again :)We had to put in the long code everyTi

We loved the location of house. If you want to enjoy the beach and the ocean, it’s perfect. We loved the covered porch too. The house itself needs updates and definitely wasn’t fancy, but served our purposes. The bunk room is crammed, but our kids didn’t mind. The other bedrooms were fine and the 2 bathrooms were tiny but nice. Plenty of places to sit both inside and out! We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view needs maintenance

This house was located relatively close to all the activity in town and being right on the ocean has phenomenal views. We found it to be in a safe neighborhood and was relatively clean.This property does need some maintenance. Several issues were reported to the property management company; unfortunately, many of them were not appropriate to address during our stay. As an example, the refrigerator had shelves held together with tape and its drawers were cracked and broken making them difficult to open. The cushions on the porch furniture were dingy so, we chose not to use most of them. The house gives "party house" vibes, which varied from our family's expectations. If you are looking for a well-maintained, pristine property, you may want to research other locations. If you are looking to enjoy the beach, hang out around town/sightsee, and can overlook maintenance issues, this property is a good value.

Family is what makes a trip

The view of the beach from the house and family is what made this stay great. The house itself, not so great. The most annoying thing was punching in a 10 digit code every single time we had to get in the house. There was no way to disable it while you were in the hours. So if we were sitting on the porch you might as well leave the door wide open so you don’t get locked out. The house needs a lot of work. The roaches, ants, no toaster tray, one stove burner not working, moldy vents, clogged drains, and no drain stoppers is just to list a few things wrong. I could go on and on. Anyway, would I stay here again nope!

Amazing view, needs some maintenance

View from the porch is amazing. There’s a few cosmetic things to fix. Paint peeling, chips flaky off. A couple of structural fixes. The floor by the couch is spongy and the eave out front is coming apart. It’s very clean and wifi is good. Great place if you’re outside a lot. If you’re an indoor person, this will bother you.

Great location for our group of 7. Very quiet and beach was not crowded in our area. Enjoyed the spacious house with full size washer and dryer. Plenty of towels and hot water.

Family Spring Break

The location of this property is amazing! Steps from the beach. We visited Gulf Shores for a family spring break. There were 6 adults and 4 kids. The double bunk bed room was perfect for the kids. The house was clean, but could use some updating. The house was stocked with kitchen utensils, pans, etc. however didn't have some of the common items I typically find in these homes such as salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. Overall we had an great stay!

Imperfect and Cozy!

We enjoyed this place ;)this was our 1st time staying in a beach house normally we stay in a condo.. we are a big family and we all have imperfections;) I felt this beach house fit our family good! It was not then fanciest and had a lot of imperfections but it was perfect for us bc we are not fancy people:) we would def stay again!

Absolutely Beautiful

Literally on the beach, we absolutely loved it. Perfect size and great for mixed families. The only downfall was no beach chairs and no where to rent them and if your coming with a large party, make a shower schedule. It only has a 28 gallon water heater so you will run out of hot water quickly. Kitchen is packed with cooking supplies. The porch has been redone. The beds were great. Will definitely rent again.

Pictures showed a completely different house.

My girls and I arrived around 6pm after our long drive in to discover that the house had a completely different interior than the one that was listed online. The exterior was the same but the interior was a different house completely. I would have considered staying there but the property was dirty, smelled terrible and the windows on the deck wouldn’t close completely or lock, which left no way for the house to be secured. I called the local property management company, Vacasa, and they took forever to get back to me so I ended up calling VRBO, and having a 3 way call with VRBO and Vacasa. I cannot say enough about how helpful and supportive VRBO’s customer service was. They metaphorically “held my hand” through a couple hours worth of sorting things out with Vacasa. After 4 hours of back and forth, Vacasa ended up moving me to a completely different location 30 minutes away. The new house ended up being adequate, clean and secure and the rest of our trip ended up being enjoyable, but man, it was a ROUGH start! While Vacasa ended up doing the right thing by moving me, I had to be super assertive to get an equivalent (on the beach) house, and they gave me a fair amount of attitude/push back when I wasn’t ok with a different house (a few blocks from the beach). I would be hesitant to rent from Vacasa again, but was extremely impressed with VRBO’s customer service.

This property was nice. Beautiful views and great location. The house itself is spacious and nice. It’s not perfect but it’s nice. Some of the previous reviews seem harsh after staying there. The kitchen items could be nicer and maybe the bedding. There were some things that weren’t perfect but it was good. I’d stay there again. We have a big family and the space was accommodating. There was was some sand in the beds and we could have used a few extra trash bags. We didn’t see any roaches or insects or anything. The furniture was new and the porch seems like it was repaired/replaced compared to pics we saw. Overall a 4 out of 5 for us.

The house has so much potential, but Vacasa only cares about making money. For starters, 16 is way too many to house. 10 was crowded for us. The house has a great location, but the wallpaper is falling off the walls, the bunk beds are falling apart, the furniture is all old/falling apart, the faucet is falling off the wall in the shower, the textured ceiling is falling down, the kitchen isn’t stocked, oh and we can’t forget to mention we had ROACHES in the house each night. The guy from maintenance was very nice when he came over to get the cable working, however, they didn’t seem to concerned when we called about the roaches. Such a shame. There’s so much potential if someone gave a little effort. Wouldn’t recommend. Stay in a house for the same price and a pool down the road.

Beach house could use some TLC.

The house could use a little TLC. I called on Sunday to report a broken shower rod and we had to make a 2nd call on Thursday before someone came to fix it. Light sockets in some of the bedrooms did now work. Hair dryer and cpap machine kept turning off. Overhead fans were dirty and it would be nice to have instructions for the tv’s. We tried to find local news and shows and we could not. A few updates would go a long way. We enjoyed our stay though. Kitchen well stocked with all we needed except small spoons.

The house had plenty of space for our family. It does need some TLC. A few things would have made the stay more comfortable...a working dustpan, more spoons, sink stoppers (for kitchen and bath) and an all purpose cleaner for tables and normal messes. It is a luxury to have a house on the beach and we did enjoy ourselves.
