"This hotel is convenient to go to Shoin Shrine on foot, although it is a steep climb from Shoin Shrine to the hotel. They have a shuttle from and to the station. They also provide baggage pick-up from the train station. The staff are very kind and friendly. Food is great."

"The Japanese style room was in very good shape obviously well taken care of by guests and staff. Walkable to old samurai district. Beautiful Hagiyaki pieces by MlWA Sujetsu on display in the lobby. Dining options nearby are very limited."

"My family rented both units and loved the rakuten housing. It was really clean and very comfortable and had everything you could ask for. The bath tub is amazing because it heats and maintains the temperature. All houses should have them. Checkin takes a little long since you have to do it virtually through an iPad but other than that everything was great and would recommend to anyone staying in Hagi"
