Half Day hotels in Chicago

"Ok we absolutely loved our room. We had a balcony, two queen sized beds that were extremely comfy and the room was well sized and while the bathroom with the tub and shower were dated it was very clean. The towels were VERY soft and clean. Loved it! The pool and hot tub…were not amazing conversely. We got there at night so maybe that is why the appearance wasn’t what I expected. Felt a bit dingy. I didn’t feel comfy to get in."

"I have stayed in many of the hotels adjacent or near by the convention center in Rosemont, and I would say the Hyatt is the best in terms of those that are actually connected to the CC (an important consideration with variable weather). The hotel itself is spartan and a bit dated, but rooms are immaculate, and the staff is kind and patient. The workout facility is above average. Now for the criticisms: There was a pipe repair during my visit, and the water was shut off, with no notice given to many guests like me, for 3 hours right before/after check-out on the day of departure. Suggestion was given to management to inform all registered guests in advance with text notifications rather than the printed sheets that were evidently available at the front desk 24hours prior to water shut off. I am a low maintenance traveler who rarely has a need to stop at the front desk after checking in, so I had no way of knowing about the pending inconvenience. This necessitated a last minute scramble in my part to reschedule the rest of my day. Complaint was register upon checkout, and desk agent was gracious and professional. "

"The hotel was definitely old and outdated but was extremely clean. The staff was super friendly and the free shuttle to and from the airport was a nice perk. The shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable enough for a good sleep after a long international flight. Breakfast had a variety of options—both cold and hot, but don’t expect a huge buffet spread. It was decent enough to be filling and there were juices and hot beverages. Overall, it was a decent experience for a night’s stay. Also, staff informed me that the hotel is undergoing renovations as it was bought out and being changed to a Marriot. "

"Nice hotel for the price. Hallways and common areas could definitely use an update. The shuttle is not 24/7 so we had to Uber to airport and I was told I had to book online to do a park and fly and online no parking was available but the lot seemed plenty empty. Ramp next door was nice and secure with a free shuttle though a tad expensive. "
