“It was a wonderful house”

“The perfect place to call “home” while visiting family. The home is spacious, clean, and well-stocked for guests. The pool was great entertainment for the cousins while the adults visited. A great experience for a first-time Vrbo guest. ”

“Wow, this place was more than I expected. It looked good from the ad but the attention to detail and decor was a home run. Everything we needed was there, beds were super comfortable and the whole place was immaculate. Huge gated back yard area and tons of extras. Will stay again for MS 150 (2026)”

“This place met ALL expectations! You can't find a better place to get away from every day hustle and bustle! The family really enjoyed being outdoors in the pool, grilling and also catching fish as well as watching the deer and other critters. The house is well kept and stocked with all that's needed for an enjoyable stay!”

We knew the home was older from the listing pictures but there was a key detail that was not mentioned or visible in the listing which is that the only shower in the home was a cast iron tub which had been converted into a shower. “The Cozy Pea was perfect for our visit to Shiner for family events. Had plenty of space. Property is convenient to town and Shiner family. Very clean with all the amenities we needed. The Byrds are great hosts. Will stay here again when visiting in the future.”
