"We stayed in a 1 bedroom 3 story chalet and everything about it was wonderful. The area is charming and the host was absolutely delightful. Will be coming back next year for sure and will stay here for longer. Great "base" to explore the lake region of Vienna. Host provided basics in the refrigerator and lots of firewood for the cozy fire. She even brought us a huge bowl of ice for us to make drinks"

"Für zwei Personen viel zu klein. Das Bett mit 1.20 m war durchgelegen und für Rückenkranke eine Tortur. Mein Mann hat die erste Nacht auf dem Boden verbracht. "We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean, and we appreciated the variety of food offered at the complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly and accommodating — as we needed to check out early on the last day, we asked if we could have breakfast on the check-in day instead, and they were happy to arrange this for us. The hotel has a hostel-style setup, with shared facilities such as a refrigerator, kettle, and can opener. Reception closes at 3:00pm. The location is convenient, as it is close to Steeg-Gosau train station, making it easy for travellers heading to Hallstatt by train (Steeg-Gosau is just one stop from Hallstatt). The cost is much lower than the accommodations in Hallstatt, so we really recommend it to anyone who would like to visit the place!"
