“Due to a flight and a long drive from ORD, I arrived at the Carmel ESA around 3:40 AM. There was a phone at the door, so I picked it up and dialed 1 for check-in service. It was a pleasant experience—the ESA service lady came out and opened the door to assist with my check-in. Thank you, ESA!”

“The rooms are always clean and I’ve never had any issues either time I’ve stayed. The staff is accommodating and nice, you can park out of your room which is awesome. It’s not far from the mall, or concert venues which is why we chose it. Overall I really enjoyed my stay!”

“Do not stay here. The property itself is extremely run down, and the rooms are beyond uncleanly. We were given dirty sheets, the room was unswept and not vaccummed (clumps of hair and dirt on the floor), and there were holes in the walls with toilet paper shoved into them. Save your money and stay somewhere else.”

“We booked two nights, and didnt stay. There were bugs and what looked like pubic hair on the pillow cases. Then when we asked for a refund and the staff was very rude. Didnt get a full refund and was very unhappy with the whole process to say the least. ”

“Annoying employee crossed a line in the pool area thinking she can tell me how to parent my children. They were jumping in the pool. No signs posted that they can’t. Diving and jumping feet first are 2 different things. They respectfully stayed from people while doing it. Employee explains to children they can’t and then came to speak to us. Despite disagreeing, we intended to do as she said. We acknowledged and told her we’d handle it. Employee continued to stand behind us hoovering until……

“Upon check-in, I was advised that the elevator was out of service in our room was on the third floor. So we had to walk up and down three flights of stairs during our stay. This was upsetting as my mother had planned to come with us, but at the last minute decided not to. If she had come, I don't know how we would've gotten up and down the stairs as she uses a walker. Also, the TV did not work at all in our room. One of the hotel employees came up to the room and thought he could fix it but he……
