「Very nice comfy spot, only issue I had was the cord for the little desk fan didn’t work. Great spot other than that. Little pricey but it was Memorial Day weekend. Quiet and there were no interactions with any staff due to it all being through phone it was contactless」

「Beautiful castle building, free coffee at the reception, staff are very friendly and helpful. They even offered me a ride to the train station when the next train was coming within half an hour. Overall it’s a very pleasant stay. 」

「Beautiful property. I stayed there 18 years ago and always wanted to go back. So glad we did. We loved our beachfront view. It rained a lot, but it was still a very relaxing getaway. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Newburyport is just a 10-minute drive with top shelf restaurants. We enjoyed The Coffee Factory for lunch, they serve a great cup of Joe and the food is delicious. Bar25 NBPT has craft cocktail that are off the charts, and the food was just as good!」

「Wonderful room, cool decor and such a neat building. The bed was super comfortable and the space to hang out in the room was relaxing. Location is perfect for browsing the shops and eating out. Using text to communicate with the concierge was also very convenient and easy.」

「I woke up in the middle of the night with about 100 ants next to my bed. But I can’t even tell the staff until 9 AM because there’s no staff at night. When I did finally get to the staff they only gave me one option, which is to stay in an ice cave themed room. Which does not sound appealing and let me tell you do not run that room. It is terrible. 「It overlooked the water and grounds well groomed and charm of the retro/traditional historical Inn was very enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and fun. We had a take out dinner and rather than go to our room to eat they turned on the lights in bar/fix easy dining area and we enjoyed our dinner and viewing the ocean. Also, appreciated outdoor games such as corn hole, horse shoes and many other family games offered in library. Nice touches throughout stay.」

「Beautiful historic inn right in downtown Newburyport, very comfortable bed, in room coffee but also lobby coffee and continental (and complimentary) breakfast. The was are a little thin as to be expected with a historic hotel. This did not bother me, but some travelers may want to be aware. Also if booking and mobility is an issue, mention it at the desk as again, it is a historic property. There are a few twists and turns and steps to get to your room. 「This hotel was a great gem in the middle of downtown Salem. We enjoyed being able to walk to almost every point of interest. The room was spacious and chic. The shower was a bit small and parking was horrendous. The hotel host a lot of events so that contributed to the abundance of people in the area but we eventually got a spot toward the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.」
