“The location is just fantastic. Thameslink, overground and underground are just within 2-4 mins walk. 4 supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. Though the building is old, it is clean and tidy. “Everything was amazing at this property. Easy to connect with staff via the app if you needed anything. The room was clean and decorated well. The breakfast every morning was fresh and it gave you a family feel seeing all the other guests during breakfast. The subway was about a ten minute walk away. My only suggestion would be if you are going in the summer ask for a room that doesn’t face the front street. There is no air conditioning (which is fine) but if we opened the window I could wave at……

“Character-limited review:
We stayed in a top-floor triple room at the Croft Court Hotel for the Shabbat of July 11-13. On foot, it's close to plenty of shuls, but not to as many restaurants or shop as some other accommodations. By bike, bus, or car, though, getting around to those shops or restaurants won't be a problem.
The hotel is just a couple of bus stops from Golders Green Station, and another minute or two down the street, so getting there by public transit is quite convenient. HOWEVER,……

"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily.
Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
