"When viewing the property from outside driving up, it is shocking. Looks like an abandoned cabin. That’s for tax assessment purposes. Inside is immaculate! Clean, everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom furnished. A super place to stay. Spotlessly cleaned. Great view of the city yet close. I will always try to return. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the rental. From arrival at the driveway to the exit at the end of our stay. We were able to enjoy the sun on the huge deck as well as shade under the covered section. The furniture was very comfortable and made it easy to relax and sleep. The big bathroom was an added bonus. The outdoor setting was quaint and well set up. We even got to fish in the river. Hope to come back soon."

"Our family enjoyed staying at Every Fisherman's Dream even though we aren't fisher-people. We relaxed, played football, did art work and my 15 yo tried fly fishing. He didn't catch anything, but had an amazing time trying. This was the perfect spot for us to enjoy some "us" time. It was also a great distance to everything we needed, including Emmanuel Seminary and Milligan College. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if visiting a student or coming for an event at the College."

"Place was beautiful. Rained the whole time but that was okay, too. Rock slide due to rain was a major hassle getting around. Owner was nice but a couple of snafus/issues could have made things even nicer. No directions on how to control thermostat. Couldn't get TV on for 24 hrs. which caused other problems but not owner's fault. Just wasted a lot of time trying to get things working. Felt safe & secure. Could have used more than 2 washcloths & 2 towels for 2 adults staying on ground floor for 3...

"This place was all we needed for a cozy mountain weekend celebrating our sons birthday. It's close to fun activities, private, beautiful scenic view of the mountains from the hottub, and though it is a bit outdated inside it didn't detract from our experience at all. We loved that it had a ping-pong ball set up for the dining room table for our boys."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Craftsman. The amenities were exactly as advertised. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable, fenced yard was perfect for our dog, large dining room table provided plenty of room for a puzzle and we enjoyed the perfect location close to ETSU, Milligan University and any necessary shopping. "Great location, walking distance to Banner Elk restaurants and entertainment. Noise from downtown area is not excessive, unit is directly across from fire station but only heard horns and sirens a couple times in 5 days. Unit was clean, well appointed and met all of our needs, we were able to cook dinner each night. Bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. Master shower does require a bit of trial and error to get all shower heads working. Check-in and check-out were a breeze."

"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"
