Welcome to our idyllic one bedroom, one and a half bath cottage at the Hanalei Bay. This remodeled beach cottage reflects the era of Old Hawaii. Located steps from the iconic Hanalei Bay and a short stroll to the center of Hanalei Town, Umetsu cottage is completely private from other homes and offers a California King bed.

Experience the Hanalei mountain views while dining outdoors. After a day at the beach, hiking, or playing in the rivers you will enjoy the hot outdoor shower followed by a relaxing hangout on one of the two covered outdoor lanais.
This cottage hails to simpler times of a bygone era. Most of our guests return year after year.

This is a Mana Kaua'i Island Vacations home and we follow many practices that support regenerative tourism. We do the work so you don't have to.

This transient vacation rental is located in the tsunami evacuation zone.

A rental agreement will be emailed to you. We do require that to be signed and returned.
The Administrative Fee is subject to change based on the number of nights booked and dates of travel.
For reservations 14 or more nights a mid-stay clean is required every 14 nights and the fee will be added to all reservations.
