“The unit itself was clean and well stocked - just your basic 1 BR condo. But the pool area was nice and not ever crowded and the location was convenient to everything. I liked being able to walk to the shops and to the beach. We had one question and the owners answered promptly. All in all a very nice home base for your trip.”

“You cannot beat this location! This unit sits Oceanside and steps away from the Lava Lava Beach Club, shopping and the Kapa’a bike path. The unit was as described and a perfect blend of efficiency and Hawaiian vacation vibes! The facility has a nice jacuzzi, pool bar and social locations. The location in the island was so convenient, a great jumping off point for any activities you want. My favorite though was stepping outside and having coffee sitting on a lounge chair on the beach 15 steps……

“My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for a whole week. It is such a peaceful environment, and is very close to the beaches. It is in a more rural area of the island, so you can see the stars super clearly at night. Some people complained of the chickens making too much noise, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. The yard is super private, and you’re about 98% out of view of your neighbors. ”

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
