“Absolutely lovely! This is a room on the second floor above the garage, with a side staircase. The hosts have thought about literally everything putting a lot of care and effort in making guests feel totally at home. All the instructions for temperature control are there on the table, there is a Keurig with plenty of coffee pods and a kettle. A canister with water sits on the shelf for ease of pouring. A refrigerator is present as well. All sorts of brochures and maps for exploring the area are……

“Place was in the BEST location- we walked everywhere. Beal’s Lobster Pound was our favorite restaurant. We loved having coffee on the deck & watching the boats in the harbor. The neighbors were so kind, lots of wildlife (deer in the front yard!) The perfect getaway after hiking in Acadia everyday!”

“Good communication with the host, pretty setting, convenient location for our fall trip to the Maine Coast. This is a spacious one-bedroom apartment in a house with an upstairs unit. The open layout of the living room, dining room and kitchen suited us well, especially the large kitchen area. The bathroom and bedroom were fine. The whole place was very clean and we had everything we needed during our three-night stay. It is a pretty setting on the shore of a lake, quiet and private but only two……

“This super clean one bedroom has all the conveniences of travel (sheets, towels, toiletries, etc) and a nicely stocked small kitchen. It's location is perfect to walk to downtown Bar Harbor and just a short drive to excellent hiking in Acadia National Park. I would happily return for future hiking trips to the area.”
