Jacksonville Hands on Children's Museum Hotels

"Everything was great! We left a phone that belonged to my mother who passed away from cancer. It was very special and we thought we would never see it again. We contacted the hotel and it had been turned in!!! They allowed our aunt to stop by and pick up the phone for us because we had made it back to Ga. We truly appreciate the hospitality and great customer service not to mention the empathy shown while speaking to the staff over the phone. The stay was amazing and we will stay again in the future…"

"The best thing about this hotel in my opinion is the staff. They were all friendly and helpful, and gave us the feeling they really wanted us to enjoy our stay. As a result we did really enjoy our days there. We’d stay here again. We had our pug with us - first time for us to travel with a dog. The hotel, unlike most, does not charge additional fees for the pet to stay. They gave her cute little food and water bowls, I assumed for us to borrow, but they gave them to us at the end of our stay. We walked her around the outside every morning, and there was dog bags and a trashcan. There were a couple other dogs staying but we rarely heard anything, so the floor and the room were quiet. The hotel room was different than I’m used to. There was no dresser, instead there is open shelving. The lights were controlled by switches by the door, and there were no individual switches except for the reading lights over the bed and there maybe a desk lamp. The room had a closet area and a room safe - we didn’t use the safe. The room was big enough for the three of us and the dog. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there were nice thick towels. There is a Starbucks within a couple of minutes walk from the front door, and we got coffee there nearly every day, as well as complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. I heard the to go breakfast is chef-made fresh in the lobby but we didn’t get to try it. My husband and daughter did appreciate the gym. "

"Staff amazing… room was exactly as described.. it was also off in a corner so no noise or anything. The whirlpool tub wasn’t cleaned good so I did have to clean prior to use but I was going to do that regardless "

"Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood that had literally everything one could need for a stay while traveling. Very clean and comfy, exactly like a home away from home. The kitchen was especially well-stocked with everything one needs to prepare any kind of meal. The host was particularly responsive in a matter of only minutes and was very understanding and cooperative about the need to extend my stay due to a medical situation. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wish I could've stayed longer. I'd go back in a heartbeat."
