民宿主人很熱情，提供每天的房務整潔，免費分享廚房可自行下廚，但位置離市區稍遠，必須有交通工具才能前往其他地方，且島上的網路不太不穩定，時常連不上wifi，另外我們在遇上大雨那天後民宿就持續停電中.....

A lovely place to stay in Easter Island.

A comfort, quiet and neat place although it usually took me around 30 mins to walk to center of town. Surrounded by many animals such as dogs, cats, horse, birds and chickens you may love this place if you are a animal lover. The host helped a lot, friendly, and love to share everything she knows about the island and prepared delicious breakfast with fresh juices and fruits. Highly recommend!

L'hôtel est situé dans un écrin de verdure bien ressourçant et les chambres ont tout le nécessaire. Notre séjour a été des plus agréable notamment grâce l'accueil unique de Maria-Isabela qui prend soin de ses hôtes avec beaucoup de soin et d'attention. Les petits déjeuner sont délicieux, et l'accès a une cuisine commune est bien pratique. Je conseille vraiment cet hôtel au rapport qualité/prix très intéressant.

If you don’t mind staying a bit outside Hanga Roa, then Hostal Pukao is a great option. It’s quiet and rustic. We traveled during the shoulder season so it was especially quiet, with roosters the only real noise. The walk into town is easy — almost all downhill. Coming back at day’s end was uphill on a full stomach so that’s something to consider, but we never minded. There’s a small market down the street and a communal kitchen on the premises. Maria Isabel is a great host and she does airport pickups for a small fee. Hostal Pukao is spartan, but clean and safe. Well, every part of Rapa Nui is safe! Don’t expect 5-star accommodation but if clean, quiet and a bit out-of-town is your thing, this is definitely your place.

We loved our stay! The place is quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by nature — you truly feel like a local. It’s about a 20-minute walk downhill to town (a beautiful walk with shops and views), and just 5 minutes back by taxi. Everything was spotless — no insects at all — and María Isabel, the owner, was always attentive and kind. The kitchen has what you need for basic meals, and while the Wi-Fi is slower in the room, it works well in the common area (perfect for disconnecting anyway). The garden is beautiful, full of trees, flowers, and even a Moai. Animals roam freely — chickens, ducks, birds, calm dogs, and a lovely cat named Greta who stole our hearts. Great value for money, easy parking, and we were even picked up at the airport with a little city tour before arriving. Highly recommended!

Das Hotel oder besser die Pension war sehr einfach, aber wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Besitzerin ist super lieb und freundlich. Preis Leistung hatte uns dazu überredet das zu buchen. Wir waren ganz allein die 4 Tage, da das Hotel etwas außerhalb liegt. Wir haben uns aber einfach ein Mofa gemietet. Abgerundet wurde das ganze durch das Bauernhof Flair. Viele süße Tiere sind dort umhergeirrt und wir haben als Ausgleich die Enten und Hühner verköstigt. Wir würden definitiv wieder dort buchen. Einzig die Hähne können einen irgendwann auf die Nerven gehen, aber das gehört nun Mal dazu. Wichtig für Leute, die ähnliche Werte haben. Unterkunft war einfach aber sauber, sehr ruhig und viele süße Tiere. Einzig eines der Pferde war mit Vorsicht zu genießen... Daher nicht nähern!

It's the best place to stay if you appreciate the silence and you're looking for a quiet place because is far from the town and very close to Puna Pau and that makes that at night you can see the stars so clearly. The staff is so kind and makes your stance there so enjoyful. The taste of the breakfast is fresh, natural and so delicious and also the proportion is enough. The room is so big for one person and perfect, in my perception, for two persons. A great experience for sure, if I come back to the island I'll stay there for sure!

Très bonne adresse en dehors du centre ville

Hôtel un peu excentré, à une petite demi-heure à pied du centre. Les chambres sont propres avec de l’eau chaude, et donnent sur le jardin qui est très mignon. Une cuisine à disposition pour se faire son dîner au besoin. Vous êtes en pleine nature avec les chats, les chiens, les poules et les canards, c’est très agréable et très calme. La tenancière est vraiment sympathique, le petit déjeuner très bon. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Attention, arnaque au petit déjeuner. Ne prenez pas inclus sinon... J'ai réservé par érreur pour deux personnes pour une semaine. J'ai donc payé 14 petits déjeuners. J'en ai prix 5 mais pour la dame, c'est le même prix... De plus, l'endroit n'est pas loin de tout mais complètement perdu dans la pampa... Bref, à fuir

Die Pension liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums von Hanga Roa, dies ist aber zu Fuß in knapp 15 Minuten erreichbar. Dafür gibt es einen großen Garten mit vielen Tieren, sogar ein kleines Pferd. Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Insgesamt stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Very cozy place for an unforgettable memory

The host gave us a warm welcome and it’s a whole building with two rooms and one well-equipped kitchen! The hostel located at a quiet place and natural garden with some cute little pets walking around us. It’s so lovely to stay in the hotel and have a good time on the beautiful island when we finish the local trip. Highly recommend!

Das Hostel liegt ca. 25min. Ausserhalb der Stadt in einem wunderschönen, grossen Garten. Da man auf der Osterinsel sowieso einen fahrbaren Untersatz benötigt, ist die Entfernung zur Stadt nicht schlimm. Man kann auch vom Hostel selbst Autos und Fahrräder sehr sehr Preiswert mieten! Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist tiptop und es wird täglich alles gereinigt und die Betten gemacht. Maria, die Besitzerin ist grossartig und hilft bei allen Fragen! Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!

great stay with good hospitality

Great hospitality from Maria and Maritza, also good that they have car rental which is cheaper than the outside shops. Provide daily House keeping which keeps the room nice and fresh which is rare for a hostel. Nice lounge area. Only draw back is the rooster as they make noise at 5am, also has a white duck which attacks people. It chased me and also other guests. So do keep a look out. But overall stay and very value for money!

The owner took me for a drive around to get me acquainted with the place. The room was spacious. The kitchen was stocked with the tools I needed for cooking. The places was quiet... a bit out of town. There are animals around the place... cats, dogs, chickens. It was a great place and I would go back again.
