"We had a wonderful stay at the Little Fox Lake Cottage. The location is incredibly convenient—close to everything you need while still feeling like a relaxing getaway. The hosts were fantastic: friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with from start to finish.The cottage itself was exactly what we were hoping for—clean, comfortable, and well cared for. It made for the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some time away. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was decent, and the staff was excellent. The check-in staff had all the documents ready, so it took me only two minutes to get my room key. Parking was super convenient and very close to the hotel. The lady in the breakfast room even made a fresh batch of hash browns when the kids asked for them. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, especially compared with other hotels in the same price range."

"We booked our two-day stay at the last minute and were lucky to find such a nice place in a prime location right next to Lake Michigan. We could walk literally anywhere in New Buffalo. The decor and furnishings were minimal but very comfortable, especially the beds, and we had everything we needed. Housekeeping was very good, though the vinyl floor was slightly sticky, likely from the cleaning product used. We had a great time and would definitely come back!"

"Tim is a fantastic host! He came over and gave us a tour of his beautiful house, and explained everything to us - codes, where to find items, and how to work appliances, and what an amazing space! Huge dining area and great room, great kitchen with SO many dishes for kids and grownups, and an abundance of bedrooms and bathrooms! Plus he had chips, dips and s'more- makings all for the taking! The pool was constantly in use, and we had fun in the game barn and making s'mores at the fire pit! The 7 grandkids would be worn out from swimming so the 10 adults could hang out and play games at night. We had so much fun! The Sawyer Inn was better than we hoped for, and that's saying a lot!"

"New Buffalo is great! This house is on a good spot just outside of the main city. Beach access is pretty limited so you pretty much have to go to the public beach about a mile away. The beds are a little small but comfortable.We stayed in early July 2026."

"In general, the house was great space-wise. The kitchen, pool and hot tub were the standouts, as was the close proximity to New Buffalo downtown and beach. There was plenty of nice space in the lower level. There were a few quality issues, ie, bedroom window blinds not functional, light bulbs out, sheets low quality, But overall a nice space to stay for a large family."
