“Rick provides an excellent breakfast and some great conversation. Definitely better than the regular boring hotel.
The parking lot is small, so maybe bring a midsize or compact vehicle vs a full size crew cab truck.”

“Exactly as described with a few pleasant surprises like wine and cheese cocktail hour and a delicious breakfast of sweet waffles with praline syrup, and savory sausage and potatoes out in the courtyard. Loved the Oglethorpe room plus Charles was very knowledgeable about the homes history - way better than google! Street parking (payment required 8am-5pm) was a bit tricky but staff was very helpful in guiding us! Savannah is definitely walkable from this home. Highly recommend!”

“The breakfast was not consistent, but there was a wide variety. I think for being a Michelin star it should’ve had homemade pastries not store-bought. I also feel like it should’ve had a small microwave in the room and makeup wipes or makeup towel or something to clean your face with. The bedding was amazing Mattress a bit soft for our taste, but that’s a hard one to get right.”

“Our only concern, as seniors, was the steep stairs. We were in a downstairs room one night, with stairs down to the first floor. Then we moved to a second floor room, with even steeper stairs. Perhaps a dumb waiter to help with luggage?
But the property is lovely, beautifully appointed rooms, excellent service, wonderful staff. Highly recommend!”

“This property is historic, so do not expect everything to be perfect. The staff is the very best, they will take great care of you. Breakfast in the morning and cookies and southern tea water in the late afternoon. Great location cation near forest Gump square (James Ogalthorp) food and coffee shops- great location.”

“We choose this location as it is close enough to walk to many places but also nice a quiet in the evenings.
From entering the home we were greeted by our wonderful hostess Abigail, we found her to be friendly, polite and very accommodating with answering questions and providing information about the area.
We would love to return and highly recommend for the price, location and service.
