「What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! Clean, comfortable and warm with excellent wifi connection. Thank you to the friendly hosts Colin and Lesley who were to hand if anything was needed but who were not intrusive or interferring at all. 「We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!」

「This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach. I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back.」

"Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked."
