We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to stay in again.

Kamers waren zeer netjes en goed onderhouden, meegegroeid met de tijd maar wel de warme feel behouden. Heerlijke bedden en rustig in de nacht. Eigen parkeerplaats is ook echt een meerwaarde!

Accommodation was great, especially with a dog. Breakfast was great too and I barely needed lunch as I was so full. Only disappointment was evening meal which was pretty average. For example pizza base was hard and cheese was chewy and tasteless. Shame as staff were great. For dog owners a fridge would be helpful too

Modern, spotlessly clean large room Very well presented Comfortable bed Great breakfast, freshly cooked & good quality. We ate there during the evening & the food was very good. Ideal base for visiting fountains abbey & Harlow Carr. Although it’s on quite a busy road our room was very quiet.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, staff lovely, food very nice and large portions. Very clean and comfy bed, wonderful shower. If there were to be any complaint at all it would be being wakened early in the morning by the cockerel from the farm at the back of the property. Thanks to all the staff at The Inn for a lovely stay.
