「The snug was immaculate however we were unable to regulate the heating. In spite of turning all visible controls off, the heat was unbearable to the point we had to open the door at 4am.」

「I turned up quite late in the day and was welcomed to this lovely B&B. Beautiful views around the property and the rooms and breakfast area have been decorated to a very high standard. But the best bits are the bed/bedding and the breakfast. I stay in 80/90 hotels a year a this is the most comfy by a mile. I overslept but they still put breakfast on for me later than planned. I will be visiting again. Lovely host and staff beautiful setting.」

「The room was clean and the bed was cozy and fluffy. The hallway was dusty and dirty and needed vacuuming. The office staff was delightful. The location was hard to find since it sits behind a restaurant, don’t trust Google Maps on this one. I had to stop at a local petrol station for directions. Breakfast was the typical Scottish menu. Parking was great! 」

「The singular complaint we had with Linen Bank was the fact that the bathroom lights was set on sensor mode and couldn’t be adjusted or turned off manually. When using the facilities in the middle of the night, you’d be awakened by the ultra bright lights. This makes it difficult to go back to sleep. Best to replace with switches with dimmers. Other than that, we were very happy with every other aspect: tastefully decorated, great location, easy parking, safe, friendly staff.」

「Cute little spot. The parking is awful so if you can come by bus, do that. Their restaurants are nice, the rooms are clean, there is a big tub to soak your aching feet. The staff was super helpful and informative, the power went out on the entire street and the personally knocked on our door to let us know and check on us and to see if they could make us dinner reservations anywhere else if the power wasn't back on by our reservation. Lovely views and lovely staff.」
