The hotel is charming on the outside. The interior is more of a standard hotel, a bit tired/dated in some respects. But it was clean, the room was comfortable & the bathroom was large and updated. It was convenient having a restaurant/bar on the premises and it was walkable to a restaurant nearby - Salatinos. What was unexpected and fantastic was the large and bright swimming pool, with sauna & steam. Really enjoyed that!

I stayed for a night in early August. Had an evening meal for which there was no ‘service’ charge added. I stayed again at the end of August & had an evening meal only this time there was a ‘service’ charge of 10% added. I challenged this only to be told “it is on the menu”. It was not ‘on the menu’. The charge was returned but why was it there to start with & nothing to alert you to what I was later told was a discretionary payment! The receptionist on each visit was fantastic. The restaurant staff were perfunctory. It was a bit on the pricey side for what you got but overall it was OK.

Hotel was very clean and the staff were super friendly. The hotel is good but the rooms are a little tired looking. But if you need a good spot to stay that is close to all of central Scotlands attractions the Inchyra is an ideal location.

Good hotel - a little understaffed in places, but the staff on reception were particularly helpful. Breakfast was good, although a buffet would have been more flexible than ordering from the menu. Spa facilities were good, but it was really quite busy. Overall, an enjoyable stay!
