"Room was clean though a bit rustic. Staff was very nice. No housekeeping but was able to collect all clean towels, etc. in the office. We were here for a funeral. Pier Blue Inn was close to funeral home, Catholic Church, and repast. Nice restaurants so close by! I’m glad I booked this place. Added a second night to avoid Friday night traffic back to our house in Rockland County NY."

"We had an amazing stay at Waterfront Oasis. It was a girl’s weekend ( 83 yo mom, sister, and daughter.) I was looking for a place with minimal stairs for my mom and this place worked great. We each had our own bedroom and the beds were very comfortable. The view outside the master bedroom is fantastic. My 19 yo daughter loved the water pressure in the shower! While we were there, we enjoyed seeing a show at the Goodspeed theatre (about 20 minutes away), rode the steam train in Essex, walked around Main Street in Essex and Old Saybrook, and took a drive to walk around Mystic. The house was very clean and well-equipped. It is worth planning your day so that you are able to enjoy the sunset on the back patio."

"We very much appreciated the timely communication from the owners. They were very accommodating and we were comfortable in their home. When back in the area we will be staying at this lovely summer cottage. "

"This was the WORST experience EVER. Showed up to property. There was garbage all over the place. Refrigerator was filled with foul smelling food. Bedrooms had clothes strew all over the place and were unclean. Same for bathrooms. Owner claimed they were never notified by VRBO that it has been rented. A complete DISASTER. Fortunately, was able to get 3 rooms at nearby hotel so we were able to still attend a wedding that we had travels across the country for."

"We had a wonderful stay and the home was beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Only a short (and I mean short) walk to the beach. Would recommend staying here. 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back next year! "
