"Old Carriage House converted into a wonderful apartment. We loved the location of this stay. We were just a short walk down from Colchester Castle and High Street, where we could find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The city centre train station was just a short walk away as well. Thank you to our host for the awesome check-in and also for the lift to the "other" train station for our trip back into London. "My room was clean and spacious. Twin in the separate wing. Food in the restaurant was awful at dinner and they’d be better serving basic English food rather than attempting foreign cuisine. It was adequate for my purpose of dropping off a teen at university. Parking was great although very full, WiFi good and location central. All being said I’d stay again when I visit the university."
