This was a very last minute booking. I appreciate that there was a room available. Very quirky arrangement. The full bed was upstairs with a low ceiling and the twin was next to the window. The room was cold and guests do not have thermostat control. Upon arrival we had a difficult time finding reception as the door was not marked or lit up in any way. Shower was nice and hot with great pressure and the hotels location is a very easy walk to anything you might want.

Great stay in Hastings. Hotel was clean and compact with a fridge in the room and sea view. Stayed here with our dog free of charge which was a really lovely bonus. Would 100% return. Only real issue was no parking which we were aware of but plenty of paid car parks close by. But travelling by train is easy too as the hotel is only 7 minutes walk with frequent taxis.

Good location in Hastings

The hotel itself was nice and the room was good. The single glazed windows meant you could hear the road noise and the music from the sunken bar (we think) on the Saturday night. You were near most things and the sea view was nice.

Lovely view but poor soundproofing

Great location, a lovely sea view, and a nicely decorated room but thats about it in terms of positives. Sound proofing is dreadful so youre in for a rough nights sleep if you have noisy neighbours. Doors slam loudly. It was advertised as a kings bed but it was a double. Only coffee in the room was decafe.

Stayed here one night when passing through Hastings. Didn’t want to spend a lot and it was a good price, and right where we wanted to be in the centre of things. Overall we had a great stay. Couldn’t have asked for much more for the price. Highlights : Bathroom- best thing about the room. really clean and new and had a great shower and nice towels. Also the mirror didn’t fog which was amazing. Room itself - did the job. Bed was a double, but had a nice view of the sea and was right on the front of the promenade. Bed itself was comfy and not sure how many people were staying there but it was very quiet and peaceful. No noise. Convenience - check in was smooth and easy. Lady was nice and instructions were good. Cons- The pillows. They were really really thick and hard. Like sleeping on rocks. Which was a shame as the sleep otherwise was good. The cleanliness. Bathroom was very clean, but there were a few stains and marks on the bedding and overall the room felt like it could have had a bit more of a deep clean- bit dusty etc on floor. Overall for the price couldn’t have asked for much more, but would have struggled to stay more than a night or two just because of the size etc of room. But a good stay

Immaculately clean room, reception helpful and all instructions very clear. Toiletries smell lovely so chosen with care. Some aspects a little dated and room blinds hard to adjust but a really convenient, comfortable stay. Would book again.

Dome good and bad.

Hotel was ok,clean ,staff very friendly. We gad a double room, if was quite small, no bedside table. And no extra pillows . Downside was when the staff went intk our toom to drop of tea bags, tgey didn't lock our door. Luckily nothing was stolen from our room. But it was not good for that yo happen.
