「This is an authentic Japanese Ryokan, where you sleep on mats on the floor. We used three mats each to be comfortable. The room was spacious. The bathroom is immaculate and we loved using the onsen or hot bath. The Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious and included a great variety of foods. The staff was gracious and very helpful. 「Good location and convenient with breakfast, snacks, and a washing machine. Staff are nice but would be a better experience if more of them were multilingual. Some only spoke Japanese and it was difficult to communicate simple things such as whether the tap water was drinkable or whether check out was completed.」

「Lovely, charming ryokan exactly as pictured. The omakase dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very welcome. It’s in a very quiet part of the village so it’s very peaceful. One of the rooms has a patio great for chilling out and it’s almost dark enough at night to take photos of the Milky Way.
