  • A photograph of the famous Tori gate in the water on Miyajima Island. Very easy access to the beach - just watch out for the deer. While I was taking this picture a deer was going through my camera bag and heading off down the beach with one of my filter holders. A fantastic island for photographers and tourists in general and well worth an overnight visit if you're going to Hiroshima, as it's only an hour away, and free to get to if you're on a JR rail pass.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had a G7 suite which was huge for the 5 of us. Large supply of amenities and the view was to die for. Access to the club lounge was a lovely bonus where we had complimentary food and drink until 10pm. The wharf behind the hotel took us straight to Miyajima which was a wonderful experience. The local bus runs from outside the hotel very regularly to transport you to and from the city. Loved everything about our stay. Highly recommended.

A wonderful hotel, welcoming, surrounded by great views and a lovely circular walk, small beaches and woods. The ferry went from the door, as did the free shuttle bus, all run like clockwork. Large room with a glass wall looking onto the bay and sofa. Nice cafe and lots of other facilities we didnt use.

It's a bit out of the way, but well worth it. The views are great, the service was wonderful and the dining is excellent too.

Absolutely highly recommended

Absolutely superb hotel to stay in! Free shuttle from the train station and ferry to Miyajima straight outside the hotel. Spacious room, so comfortable. Best breakfast ever! G7 Summit had been held here in 2023. The price was brilliant...we had paid similar the past week in Japan for far less standards.

Great location for access to Miyajima from ferry in front of the hotel. A short drive or public transport to central Hiroshima. The pool is a fee for use approx 3000y per adult. Great service and breakfast.

Good Hotel with great views over bay.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast catered for all tastes and the other restaurants we used were very good too.
