“Absolutely STUNNING home surrounded by equally stunning homes. Easily walkable to a lot of local places. Owner was very accommodating and helped us with the easiest check in process I've ever experienced. Phenomenal place!”

“This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table.……

Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Carr Mansion for a relaxing trip with a home-like feel that typical hotels just can’t match. We will……

“The home was nice. Just a short walk to the pier, the trollies and the beach. Not much of a need to drive many places. We loved that part. It is very close to some bars. We had a bunch of kids and was concerned about that but no one bothered us and it wasn't noisy. The neighbors were friendly who lived around there. Very minor complaints and they were just inconveniences.”

“The staff was extremely nice. The only complaint I have is the room smelled like mildew. It's a bed & a bathroom which served it's purpose. It was very clean though. We wanted a room on the beach & that's what it is.”

“I reserved a room for me and my kids and as soon as I entered the room we took our shoes off and the floor was dirty and sticky. One of the lamps stop working as soon as I turned it on they only gave me one towel and the ceiling had mold I wouldn’t recommend this hotel because you can’t even use the swimming pool because it was never cleaned and the water was green. The bed sheets had stains and felt dirty.”
