"My stay at Belle Maison Hotel in Milot, Haiti was a nightmare. The rooms were infested with large, flying cockroaches, and there were mice running around in the kitchen—completely unsanitary. Air conditioning works for only 2.5 hours max; guests are told to use a fan. There are no couches or lounge areas, only uncomfortable wooden chairs throughout the hotel. The manager unprofessionally banged on my door during my stay, demanding advance payment for meals, claiming the hotel couldn’t buy...
