My stay was AMAZING!!! Celine Terry, her mother, and her staff were extremely helpful, kind, and generous with helping me navigate Cuba. It was because of them that my first time was memorable and definitely makes me plan for more trips in the future! I have told all my family & friends about my experience and the hospitality I received - I promise to return and bring many many more people that want to travel to Cuba with me <3

The owners were really welcoming, really well decorated, extremely clean. Staff extremely nice. AC and WIFI available and possibility to have breakfast on site. No food in walking distance. Super quiet area. I recommend to anybody who wants a quiet place to return to at night.

A really beautiful and comfortable home in a quieter area of the city. Great hosts (and pets) and easy access to Old Havana or Vedado. I would happily stay here again.

A rare experience to meet proprietors as gracious and helpful as the owners of this house. Superior staff and the property is well maintained and cared for. The host and hostess go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable! I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants to know "real" Havana. It is a place I'm coming back to when I commence a motorcycle tour of the island a year from now. Also, very safe and secure. A veritable fortress you can relax in. The value is hard to beat here. g.s.

A wonderful and hidden gem in Havana
My boyfriend and I had booked their Luxury Studio Suite for our first few days in Havana before travelling to our next stop in Cuba and returned to Albero Dulce to stay in their Comfort Room for our final night in Cuba two weeks later. Both rooms were very cute and comfortable. The people at Albero Dulce are super friendly and welcomed us with warm spirit which truly made us feel home for a few days. We also booked their 2-hour Classic Car tour which was a really great experience. They took us around the city, showed us some really cool spots of the city and told us about the areas. We will highly recommend this experience! We will happily return to Albero Dulce if we come back to Havana in the future.

A lovely home to stay at
I spent a night with my hosts for a stop over close to the bus station in Havana. My hosts were really friendly and helpful. They recommended a really great restaurant and let me leave my bag a couple of hours while I waited for my bus. The room was really pleasant and a good bathroom with good faculties. Breakfast was nice and the family made me feel very welcome

Great Stay!
I had an amazing stay with Residencia Albero Dulce! The place had everything I needed for my stay. They gave me a ride to and from the airport and gave me some great tips on what do to in Havana during my time there. I think some Americans are a little worried about traveling to Cuba still, but my stay here gave me no reason to be worried at all! I even got a little sick one day and the family gave me some meds for no charge and took care of me. Never stayed at a place that cared that much! Price is reasonable too for Havana, not too cheap but not overpriced either. They also have some long-term plans for the place with some additions going on which is a great sign for any business. I would definitely recommend staying with them!

¡Estupendo para tu estancia en La Habana!
Mi habitación era estupenda, limpia, amplia y con baño privado; y el desayuno, maravilloso. Pero sobre todo lo mejor fue conocer a los chicos que viven en la casa, me trataron genial, me ayudaron en todo lo que pudieron y me prepararon la estancia y el viaje en taxi colectivo a Cienfuegos y Trinidad. Cuando vuelva a La Habana, volveré a Albero Dulce.

A gem in Havana, the house is named after a sweet tree in the garden. Three guest rooms for now but they are expanding to six rooms next year with a small spa and yoga classes. The personal attention from Celine, Matteo and their staff is priceless. Nicely decorated rooms with private bathrooms, the shower even had water jets! The breakfast had a powerful cereal boost, toast with cheese (but you can ask for anything they have available) and fresh fruit. After hitting the town, you return home to this cool place where a good conversation is easy to start, if you need one. They have a blue Cadillac and run a two hour city tour which is fabulous. They are planning to organise beach excursions in Cadillacs next yeer. Matteo and Celine are so friendly that we felt at home. You won’t get any better value for money. Will definitely stay here again, when back in Havana

This place was gorgeous! Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day while we were out. Our hosts provided us with tips on what to do and helped us configure our trip. The breakfast was delicious in the mornings for a small fee. Overall, I highly recommend this stay!

Albero Dolce - el corazon de la Habana
Our Habana trip started at the airport w a bang when we jumped into Matteo and Celine's immaculately restored Dodge convertible for a ride to their beautiful house. Under the shade of a massive Chirimoya tree, their home feels like a jungle sanctuary, giving shade to the giant windows of our 2nd Flr room. Their house is in Barrio Cerro walking distance to La Plaza de la Revolucion, Central Habana, Habana Veijo and Vedado. A quiet area of familys and schools, Corona Cigar factory, Estadio Latinoamericano and a lovely walk to cemetery Necropolis Cristobal Colon. Their immediate neighbor is the Rivera Studio. An art gallery and work space that features outsider art. Owners William and Derbis are amazing people who have created a venue and support for seldom celebrated artists with physical or mental handicaps. Incredible. We felt very safe and completely at home in Cerro and in Habana everywhere we went. Though the Cerro is very tranquil, completely devoid of the exhausting tourist hustle that you will encounter in Central and Veijo. Their neighborhood is flanked by larger avenues with groceries, restaurants and you can flag a taxi to anywhere. Matteo and Celines house felt like our own home (but much cleaner). They had meals available, wifi, coffee, beer, an amazing roof top patio, refrigerator and stove..everything needed. AND the BEST SHOWER in CUBA! They also offer trips in their fabulous car to countryside or beach. Fantastic hosts! Amazing home! Highly recommended!!

The Residence and hosts are wonderful. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. It is located in the residential area so if you do not mind walking, or plan to take Taxis, this spot is perfect. I really felt like home during my stay at Albero Dulce's

This property is exactly what we were looking for. Matteo and Celine took care of us very well and helped us out with booking buses and brought us on a great tour of Havana in their beautiful soft top dodge. We were even taken to a local night club to get an authentic Cuban experience. It was perfect for us and made for a great holiday in Cuba. The country is beautiful and the locals are so friendly. The property is in excellent condition and position to Havana.This is made apparent when you become aware of Cuba and the capitol. The host family were nothing but considerate and caring , providing home cooked meals at my request and dietary needs provided for (as far as possible given the food challenges inCuba)I never went without and was cooked local specialities, delicious at a totally reasonable price . The Daughter of the family , who spoke fluent English, ensured I found my way around and acted as a guide when I needed but also as a wonderful companion on occasion. I also benefitted from being invited to evenings out at the ballet and the infamous Factory Art, enjoying the best Rhumba lessons, Cuban dancing and music. Being at this Casa made my trip extra special.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Alberto Dulce. It's a lovely place, with fantastic hosts. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone that wanted to stay in the area. The room was large, well appointed, well designed and very clean. Our suite had a kitchenette, living room, dining room and great bathroom.

良かった点は、とても親切でフレンドリーなオーナーです。大晦日の夜の到着でしたが、特別な伝統料理のディナーを振る舞ってくれました（有料ですが。） また部屋も広くシャワーやトイレの水回りも清潔でした。 犬2匹と猫2匹がいます。とても人懐っこくて本当に可愛い ロケーションは革命広場の近くですが、旧市街へは30分くらい歩きます。旧市街までの道のりはローカルエリアをがっつり通ることになり、ハバナのリアルな生活環境を垣間見ながら歩くことになります。治安は問題ないですが、ゴミが多かったり道が汚かったりと少し難あり

Es un lugar confortable, muy limpio, muy bien decorado y seguro. Se siente que estás en una casa familiar por la amabilidad con que te reciben. El desayuno servido con muy buena atención es muy completo, rico y fresco. La casa se ubica muy cerca de la terminal de autobuses y de la Plaza de la Revolución. Absolutamente recomendable.

Mis días en Residencia Albero Dulce fueron especialmente mágicos. Entrar en ese jardín con esa energía, la armonía de los espacios, la exuberante vegetación. Me gustó tanto que me quedé 3 días más y descubrí que tienen un centro yoga en la misma instalación. Pude disfrutar de 2 clases junto a la profe Yanelis qu me reinciaron todo mi sistema. Aproveché y hasta me hice un masaje Thai. La localidad es residencial y muy tranquila, a pocos pasos tienen una Galería de arte, una Fábrica de Tabacos donde hacer visita y también queda cerca de la Plaza de la Revolución. Llegar a la parte antigua de la ciudad fue fácil, hice una buena caminata de 20 min y estaba en el Capitolio. Seguramente regresaré a Albero Dulce para acostarme en la hamaca debajo del árbol y que las mascota de la casa me hagan compañía. Gracias!

Sono stata alla Residencia Albero Dulce ed è stata una esperienza straordinaria e bellissima con la mia famiglia! Le persone che mi hanno accolto hanno avuto con me un'umanità e gentilezza meravigliose. La casa e la stanza di gran gusto, molto pulita e arredata cozy. Il bagno stupendo e funzionale, la doccia con una pressione unica meglio di casa mia a Milano!!! Residenza Albero Dulce si trova in una zona molto centrale e tranquilla (sicuramente più interessante della solita Old Havana troppo caotica e sporca) e a pochi passi dalla piazza più importante della città e di Cuba, la mitica Plaza de La Revolución e vicina ad altre zone di interesse storico e culturale da vedere. La casa è un'oasi segreta dove si respira pace in stretto contatto con la Natura anche per l'abbondanza di piante tropicali nel giardino pur essendo nel centro della città. Assolutamente raccomando a tutti!!! Siempre en mi corazón :-)

Sejour Ok dans l ensemble mais une seule personne parlant anglais lors de notre séjour et pas tout le temps présente... Petit déjeuner cher pour ce que c était...Service additionnel cher également et établissement très loin d'un lieu pour prendre un verre ou diner! Obligation de reprendre voiture ou taxi pour y aller, pas très pratique

Hola! Agradecemos siempre por el tiempo en escribir una opinión que nos hace mejorar y crecer. Empecemos recordándole que Cuba es un país de habla hispana, no es obligatorio tener que hablar otro idioma que no sea el nuestro y si tenemos la fortuna de tener a alguien que habla inglés(por ser el idioma más comercial del mundo) pretender que todas las personas lo hablen está fuera de lugar. Como todo el planeta estamos enfrentando una crisis económica que ha hecho que los precios y la inflación no tengan límite y Cuba está más que afectada. No obstante tratamos de ofrecer lo mejor que podemos a nuestros clientes y que se sientan satisfechos con la calidad y cantidad. En cuanto a lo de tomar taxi, no se a que se refiere, es una percepción muy personal ya que estamos cerca de los principales puntos de la ciudad: 300 metros Plaza de la Revolución, 300 metros de la Terminal de Ómnibus, 2 km Vedado, 3 km Habana Vieja, 20 min del aeropuerto en coche, y podríamos escribir todas las ventajas de nuestra ubicación pero como ya le decimos es todo cuestión de percepción y conocimiento. ¡Gracias de igual forma!

Petit hôtel propre, situé à l'écart de la habana vieja donc plutôt au calme mais loin des restaurants, nécessité de faire tous les déplacements en taxi/bus. Famille vous accueillant très sympathique mais ne changez pas la monnaie ici, vous trouverez un taux plus intéressant en ville, le WIFI est facturé très cher et ne fonctionne que dans le patio.

Hola! Muchas Gracias por escribir su opinión. Nos ayuda mucho para crecer y mejorar. Nuestra casa se encuentra en un barrio muy tranquilo y céntrico, a pocos pasos de La Plaza de Revolución, la más importante de la ciudad. Cerca de nosotros hay unos cuantos restaurantes y cafeterías pero no son tan turísticos, lugares que muestran la realidad cubana pero que reflejan la autenticidad de nuestra cocina. La Habana como ciudad no es solo La Habana Vieja, y como visitantes a nuestra isla deberían saberlo, La Habana es más que el Casco Histórico que solo constituye una pequeña parte. No obstante estamos a solo 3 km a pie de este. Con respecto al cambio, nosotros por cortesía con nuestros clientes hacemos este servicio pero no somos un banco. Siempre advertimos que pueden encontrar una mejor oferta con el riesgo de que los estafen o les den billetes falsos y ya en este caso no nos responsabilizamos de lo que pueda ocurrir. Tenemos la dicha de poder ofertar el servicio de WiFi en nuestra casa, ya que en nuestro barrio solo lo tienen 4 casas. La velocidad y eficacia de este no depende de nosotros ya que la compañía estatal llamada ETECSA no nos ofrece mejor calidad dado la infraestructura que poseen ellos. Son cuestiones que se nos van de las manos. Muchas Gracias nuevamente por tomarse un tiempo y escribir. Escuchamos y tomamos nota de todas las sugerencias de nuestros clientes a pesar de que en este caso ninguna depende de nosotros.

Tanto, q en nuestros últimos días cuando regresamos a La Havana volvimos a repetir, el alojamiento es muy acogedor y bonito, tiene un patio interior precioso, la habitación en la q nos quedamos tenia todas las comodidades, el baño era perfecto, todo estaba muy limpio, con aire acondicionado. El desayuno súper completo!! Y tanto los caseros como la señora que les ayuda son todos un encanto, nos ayudaron en una situación un poco embarazosa que tuvimos ❤️ por lo q estamos muy agradecidas, pasamos muy buenos momentos con ellos! Nos recomendaron muy buenos lugares para comer he incluso pasamos unos ratitos maravillosos con ellos 🍹🍝 muy agradecidas por el trato y la acogida, repetiríamos sin duda si volvemos a Cuba! No dudes en elegir este alojamiento si quieres llevarse un recuerdo bonito de esta ciudad.

Celine and Matteo were very nice hosts. Everything was clean everytime and they were very considered. If we ever stay at Havana again, we would stay at Residencia Alberto Dulce.
