"Wonderful home and location. This had everything we needed for a last minute family mountain getaway. We will be back and bring friends. Downstairs game room and bunk room is a perfect spot for entertaining kids, beautiful views, lovely outdoor spaces, porches, fire area and hot tub are perfect for the adults. Quiet mountain neighborhood with direct mountain (Grandfather) views and still great proximity to all of our activities (Boone, Banner Elk/Sugar, Grandfather, Valle Crucis, Otter Creek Falls-very close for a quick easy hike). We spent as much time in relaxing in the house as we did adventuring. Host was so hospitable and communicative before and during our stay! All information we needed about the home, checkin/check out or area were answered before we could ask the question! Book this listing, you won’t regret it!!!"

"We had a great time. We loved the cozy cabin vibes, kids loved the hot tub and creek. For anyone with little kids the stairs to the creek are quite steep and there were no gates which could be concerning for littles. The upstairs bathroom NEEDS a blind. We improvised with a towel but it has been mentioned in previous reviews and is still wide open when you step out of the shower. Also blinds in the loft for that extra bedroom, kids were up with the sun! The property isn’t as private as I thought which is no fault to the listing or anything and neighbors seem friendly. There are friendly roaming dogs that live in the area, just be aware if you are traveling with furry friends. Neighborhood dogs do poop on the property which is a little annoying as I am someone who tries to clean up after my dogs especially when we are visiting somewhere. Husband ruined a pair of shoes from dog poop that was not from ours. All in all it was a good visit and I would recommend this property. "

"We loved the stay at Rainbow’s End. It was close to our destination and easily accessible. Our party had plenty of room. Only downside was the extreme chlorine smell in the downstairs area, we opened the doors and windows for a few hours for it to dissipate. We will return again!"
