「This was a lovely Inn. It was spotlessly clean everywhere and very well maintained. The staff were all friendly. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice for everyone. We had a room in one of the ouside lodges with a bacony. These were in a block of 6, 3 at the front overlooking the grounds and gardens and 3 at the back with views of trees. The back rooms had a problem with seeds from the trees dropping all over our balcony and on the seating area. I felt sorry for the room maid...

Perfectly situated for the coast, we visited Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and whitby; and for York and Harrogate. Would definately stay here again if we find ourselves in that part of the country again!!」
