I was given a room with a tiny window in the ceiling so it was pretty claustrophobic. The room was also incredibly small.
Also my friend had come to drop me off and I was questioned if they would stay with me as I had booked the room for one.

Good hotel, very convenient location - short walk to Hyde Park or to Paddington subway, which has almost all tube lines. No air conditioning, but the window opened and was effective in cooling the room during May visit. Good breakfast included with the room. Had coffee and boiler and milk in the room.
Many restaurants nearby. Room was small but adequate. Had a desk, chair and closet and towel electric drying rack. Paid for single bed but they upgraded me to a double with a very comfortable, firm mattress.
Only negative was that I found the coffee in the modern coffee choosing machine at breakfast to be not as good as the instant coffee in the room. They offered tea as well. Breakfast had a choice of fruit and cereal self service and eggs or English breakfast (beans, eggs, bacon sausage - or in my case eggs and hash brown potato).
I was able to leave my bags in the lobby for a few hours after checkout. All in all a great place to stay. Seemed a safe neighborhood and they lock the door at night, but open for guests with 24 hour receptionist.

"I LOVED that it was so quiet inside the hotel. I slept amazingly!! It is important to note that this is a hotel you come to to sleep, not really to pass time.
