“Room was compact but ok Clean & warm -visited in December Safe didn’t work which may have been batteries but was an overnight stay so not a big issue Found bfast strange -started with fruit juice, cereal, toast & croissants -the latter usually served after full English. I found a hair in my scrambled egg which I’d eaten & had to remove from my mouth -not pleasant. Girl serving who was doubling as a receptionist didn’t apologise which I thought odd & asked me to put on a plate so she could show……

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel for a two-night getaway, and overall, it was a good and relaxing experience. The hotel's convenient location, excellent service, and serene ambiance made for a memorable stay. However, I did come across a minor issue with mould near the shower area, which slightly dampened my experience. The service at the hotel was exceptional. “We paid over £1000 for a two night stay. The room was very very tired and felt grubby and dated. The room was worse than a budget hotel room. Despite the £500 a night price you have to pay extra to have a cooked breakfast and the self serve breakfast on offer is very poor. No table service and only coffee on offer is weak watery coffee via a thermos flask. Not actually sure how they can justify the room price. Bathroom in particular was very dated and grubby - shower is operated via attempting……
