This is a great hotel for the price. The front desk gentleman (I think a college student) was very friendly and personable. The room was clean and the bed's comfy. Nice comforter! The towels were also soft and nice.Also appreciated the frig and microwave. I will stay again on my next trip through Hays!

Staff was great, they let us check in early which was a huge plus. Bathrooms were disgusting and needed updated. You could hear everything in the hallway and people walking above. Breakfast was mediocre.

The only problem this place is the crappy tv. It was cheap, small with tinny speakers that had the volume set so low that you couldn’t hear. We spent the evening reading closed captions. After a long day on the road we relax by watching television. We could not do that at this place and will not stay there again.

The staff were wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was good. I appreciate the smoking area. Lemon infused water was nice. Room was clean and had what I needed. Didnt care for the hot breakfast. The eggs were watery and unpleasant looking, same with the potatoes and the sausage didn't look cooked, just steamed. I had oatmeal, then went somewhere and paid for breakfast. Maybe advertise a continental breakfast because that's all I got.
