"Sea Sprite was a lovely inn for our short stay at Cannon Beach. Over the years, we have stayed in different hotels there but our family agreed that we liked Sea Sprite the best of all. Our one BR suite included a queen sofa bed in the living room and accommodated our family of four very well. We appreciated the well-supplied kitchen, the large window with ocean view AND a great view of Haystack Rock. It was easy to walk on the beach to the center of town, but we appreciated the location in a quieter area a bit away from the downtown. There is a lovely grassy area with Adirondack chairs, a shared grill, and many rabbits living in the hedge. Watch out for the elk herd in and around Cannon Beach- they don't seem to be bothered by people watching them while they munch away on the shrubs. I should also mention that the staff (owners?) were very nice and attentive. We look forward to returning to Sea Sprite. Highly recommend."

"The view is spectacular and we enjoyed it sitting on the porch. The kitchen is VERY well stocked with the cookware needed. We appreciated the two dishwashers and two ovens. No complaints about the beds. There were times we wished there was another bathroom, especially those folks staying upstairs. But a wonderful house overall. And easy access to the beach."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For twelve years, four of us have thoroughly enjoyed Neilson's. No matter the weather, we never tire of the view overlooking Haystack Rock, the Needles, the waves, ever-changing tides and the wildlife. It is spectacular! Photos simply do not do it justice. This year we were treated to up close visits by a pod of pelicans at Haystack. The cottage is perfectly appointed. Modern conveniences and historic charm have been combined thoughtfully and very successfully. From seating to sleeping, the comfort level of Neilson's is A+. We are looking forward to 2027!"

"This property is an AMAZING VALUE! My sister and I/ our partners loved our stay there. The location is absolutely incredible with being right in front of haystack rock, and mere minutes from either beach access. The house very comfortably fit the 4 of us and had a lot of natural light. Very well equipped kitchen and had adorable cozy PNW beach decor that made me feel nostalgic. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom has been updated nicely. Our hands down favorite thing was the patio, we loved sunbathing on the deck, playing board games or eating at the picnic table or just sitting and watching the sunset with a drink in hand! This house is located slightly further out than the resorts/away from town which is a huge plus for us because the beach is much quieter once you get past them! The walk into downtown is still very easy and pleasant from both the beach and on land. We parked our car and never felt the need to use it the entire trip! We will certainly be booking this rental again the next time we go to cannon beach."
