「It is very good hotel. The service people are nice and very patient. The room is close to beach. If the room could be bigger and brighter, it will be better. 」

「Such a nice option to have our own little space right near the beach. Parking is really tricky so having a parking space was a huge help. In general the property was clean, but the kitchen did smell pretty bad. Otherwise we loved it.」

「I thought I was booking a room at the historic McMenamin's Gearhart Hotel. Our room ended up being in the annex next door. I asked if I clicked to choose the annex accidentally and was told that they randomly book folks into there. I should have called to specify. Oh, I didn't know. Next time.」

「The room was spacious and clean. Blackout curtains were a plus. Hot breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly, though a bit chatty. The only complaint I have is the noise level as our room was right next to the only (noisy, old and worn down) elevator in the building.」

「wonderful, family friendly place to stay by the beach. it feels really homey and fun. lots of snacks in the office and looks like they lend out beach toys for the kids. room was comfy, warm enough/cool enough, shower nice and hot. we had a great time, the owner greeted us, gave us local recommendations (Crabby Oyster has the best fish and chips!), and was able to accommodate our late check out request. This place is not sleek and elegant--go to a large hotel if that is what you are looking...
