Beautiful grounds and accommodations, very pet friendly, privacy between cabins, quiet, comfortable beds, and so many details! I wanted to move in! Charming, inviting, and the manager was amazing during our stay! We’ll definitely be back! - Tami, Brian, & the two goldens (Brenner & Charlie)
The cottages were lovely however there was nobody to check us in when we arrived. The cottages are located just of the main street which make them idea for walikng to the beach &. Bars. Manzanita was beautiful and we were very lucky to have sunshine all the while we were there. We would have liked a late check out but could not find anyone as the reception area seems to be attended at specific times only.
Beautiful private cabin that is extremely well camofllaged. The bed is super cozy with beautifull wood ceiling. The couch in a sleeper and therefore not comfortable to sit on or sleep on. The upscale bathroom fixtures take a little time to figure out. On the whole, i found the North Tower cozy, clean , private and very quiet.
Visited Coast Cabins for our anniversary. It was our first time visiting Manzanita. It’s a very quaint, cute beach town. Very sleepy if you visit in the weekdays like we did, which limits the amount of local restaurants open. The cabin was clean and cozy. Loved the patio area, hot tub, and outdoor fireplace. The staff was attentive and friendly. Very peaceful getaway! The only downside was the Queen size bed and the size of the bedroom is tight. No where to place your suitcase. You have to squeeze around the bed to move around. The other thing we didn’t love was the shower, hard to maintain temp, either too hot or too cold and no visible directions. For the price of the cabins, I expected more. Otherwise, lovely stay but might need more space next time.
Great staff and location! Our cabin was right on street so did hear cars but didn’t bother us much. The staff was above expectations. Would return but in different cabin.
Loved the gardens surrounding cabin. Wish there was a way to get to beach area south of Main Street. Visitors can’t park at beach access lanes, and for older guests walk to that area is hard.
It's a lovely facility, beautifully done. But it is right on Laneda avenue, which is really noisy. As long as you stay in your room, it's quiet though.
Terrible pet policy. We paid over $160 for a one night stay, for two 9 lb chihuahuas. They charged $35 a piece plus an additional $75 pet cleaning fee. Be sure to read the fine print before bringing your dog. Really excessive. Will not stay here again.
The facility was very cramped for the price. The bed was upstairs, so you would have to come downstairs in the middle of the night to use the only tiny bathroom. When we expressed our extreme disappointment, we were met with indifference and told that we should have read the dimensions on the website. She then told us we can switch to a different site for the second night for an additional $113. After we checked out, I found yet another charge of $112 for having had my dog with us when the website said it was $25 a night for dogs. We told the manager the light was out in the bathroom. She said maintenance would not be able to change it until after we check out, so treat it as “mood lighting”. We also killed some ants in the kitchen.
Beautiful landscaping and the rooms/architecture were awesome. Firepit at each room was fun and all around a great experience. We would definitely stay here again
This is a review for Cabin#3 (North Tower). We were looking forward to some beach time at Manzanita but upon checking in at the Coast Cabins, we didn't want to leave our cozy and private haven. The owners have thought of everything. The kitchen is small, but we were able to cook every meal at home, it was so well stocked. We ran out of pepper during our stay and they quickly refilled it along with an apology and a Theo's chocolate bar. We really loved the sculptural fire pit which came with a cooking grate, utensils and inside a little packet of s'mores. Its the little touches: the Toto Washlet bidet, the sparkling clean shower and hot tub, the spa robes, the Charter Club pillows, the Malin & Goetz bath amenities, the goodies on the table when you walk in (hazelnuts, KIND bars, fruit, chocolates, sparkling water and more!). The grounds are so private and at night are lit up beautifully, the bamboo is impressive. When you stay here, it feels welcoming...they give you just the right amount of hands off privacy (which we like) but also greet you with a glass of wine/beer/water and each afternoon there is a fire in the main fire pit if you are feeling more social. This is the kind of place you save for and visit every year. And maybe next year, we will actually go to the beach! Or not....
An Oasis in the middle of an Oasis. Even though you are right on the main drag through town it feels like you are much more isolated from the rest of the world. Bed was fantastic. We slept the best we ever have away from home. Biggest downside is you do have to walk a bit to get to beach but not bad (1/2 mile).
Beautifully nestled amongst bamboo, every detail of my little cabin was well thought out and the quality of the linens was excellent. I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud. The only downside was that Cabin 1 is right on the main road in to town. This was clearly stated on the website, so it wasn't a surprise. It was a bit noisy during the day - even in the off season - but at night it was just fine with only an occasional car driving by.
We were greeted with wine and sparkling water after a 2 hour drive and lots of snacks in our room. The cabins have a Japanese contemporary motif while being cozy and comfy. We stayed in cabin 1. Fixtures and appliances were top of the line. Furniture was nice as well. Bathroom had two shower heads, heater, skylight, and super soft fluffy towels. Fench press and espresso machine in the kitchen. ed was extremely comfy snd lots of windows so its like sleeping in a treehouse. Would stay there again!

Excellent. It was impeccably clean, great amenities, very luxurious. I absolutely loved it.
Amazing gem in Manzanita. High end, private, zen environment. We stayed in the North Tower and felt like we had our own private treehouse. Incredible attention to detail in the decorations, appliances, even the soaps! This was our second time here and it was again an amazing retreat for me and my husband. Highly recommend it!
